Some guy with a Caribbean accent called to tell me I had won several hundred thousand dollars and a Benz.  Hew was not very effective at the scam, as he could not articulate what he wanted me to do.

A man called me with an accent and said that I had won $950.000 and a Mercedes. He wanted me to give him $350.00 by Western Union to get the money & a package sent to my home. He eventually told me to send him $150.00 to get the package sent to my home.

He said his name was Michael Anderson.   Added to Charlotte's post.

Noisy connection, started spiel; I then hung up.  Thought 876 AC was similar to 877 (toll free) but then realized 876 is Jamaica!

Some guy called and said I had won the publishers clearing house and a Mercedes. This is the 2nd time I have gotten a call like this. Except the first time was on my husbands phone. When I said we weren't familiar with what he was calling about, he began to curse using very ugly words. Guess you shouldn't second guess them!!! Lol! I recommend if you see this area code on your phone, don't answer!

Yep the old fart still at it...u won PCH...950,000 dollars and a mercedes....duh you and I know thats not  true and wasted my time...from las vegas....and every thing he said ended in OK....gave prize #s...serial #s....pin#s...and asked if was home.....yep...he ask for my age ...no I'm not giving u my age...he hungup... The U S  phone company's should work on stopping calls from coming to the us if you can't call back...theWall....scanners should all shot...or cut off the tongues

Got a call yesterday from this number, connection was not good, but requested they not call my number again.  They called again this morning, said his name was Michael White with Publishers Clearing House.  He asked if I was sleeping, told him none of his business and requested that my number be removed from their calling list.  He stated that Americans were so illiterate to believe that the numbers could be erased.  I told him he was very ignorant and arrogant and I ended the call.
