For the past week, 5-6 calls/day from rotating 876 area code numbers. It's been over a year since these lads last called.

One was a heavy Yoruba accent (very poor english) with dogs and baby in the background, left a vmail that he had a card for me with $5M.  One had an American dialect, when vmail answered, kept shouting my elderly mother's name (has not lived here for nearly a year) "are you there [name]? hello?" A very drowsy sounding "manager" hardly intelligible calling about something, couldn't make it out except for "urgent" and "account." Another American accent was Sgt. Someone from the FBI (they don't have sergeants or call from Jamaica) investigating a package that was to be delivered to [mother].

The best one in this batch called at 5:21am today.  When vmail picked up, they hung up and immediately called again.  The third time they did this, I answered and waited in silence until he asked for [mother].  I called HIM a mother-* and told him to stop calling, because this was a dry well, stop wasting his time.  He didn't like this, started swearing, said he had my address, was very close, watch for a red car, he is coming to kill me.  Nice.  Good thing it's a long drive from Lagos.
