876-887-0477

I received a call and the guy asked for my husband first and then asked if I was his wife.  He then told me he was a driver for UPS and that he had a parcel to deliver, but I had to call 876-887-0477 and ask for James Taylor.  When I asked him why I had to call and that it sounded weird to me, he was rude and told me to make the call then he hung up.  I phoned UPS Canada and the woman there told me there was no record of a delivery for my husband or our address.  I never called the 876 number and when I looked up the area code 876 is for Jamaica.  It was definately some kind of scam.

I got a call from this number earlier today, same scenario, but because we were waiting for a parcel, I called  before checking the area code. A man answered and mentioned something about Vegas and told me I had won $255,000, I hung up immediately but now wonder what the consequences of calling this number might be.

My Mom wanted to believe she won 250K and a Mercedes.  A guy from Winners International.  Wanted to meet her at the closest nearby town (at a Western Union location) she needs 200.00 for the car delivery.
