call threatens legal action to collect a debt.(none owed of course). caller got pissed when i hung up on him and called back.  hung up when i told him i worked for the sheriffs dept.

He called saying "Im Mr. Johnson from Mega Millions why you no collect your half a million dollars" I never played this or won any money so I hung up and he called right back sayin the same thing and my dad started to mimic him and he got angry asking to "speak to the lady" and my dad kept on and he hung up angry.

This is one of the more active numbers, same group of social misfits......

What you had on the end of that line was a dirty,black "Chimpanzee" dressed in filthy shorts and a ripped up wifebeater shirt. He was sitting in a small leanto with chickens/roosters running around (you can usually HEAR them in the background).His "Computer" was a "Etch-A-Scetch" that he was looking up your info on.
They DO use "MagicJacks" registered so they LOOK like they are in 702 (vegas) 775(reno) 305(florida) 256(alabama) and a few others....
BE SMART! ask yourself who in their right mind would hire someone that SOUNDS like these Dingbats?

Record the calls! Great for parties! when you tell them you are recording them they WILL go away!
Use fake names like Joe Namith, Joe Biden,Burt Reynolds..they have no idea who they are!!!
Use a fake address, vacant lot, abandoned building, police station..you get the idea :)
WASTE THEIR TIME!!!! this is a big one :) hahaha ask them to repeat themselves over and over
BELITTLE THEM! this is fun!! ask if they are married, if single do they masturbate,ask are you stupid?
Pretend like you can't hear them! (most of the time this is real)
String them along for DAYS! tell them you want to send them a check and get their mailing address

Caller called asking for my information. I hung up on the scammer. He called bsck with threats about a debt but didn't even known my name. He just wanted me to answer questions. I hung up & blocked the number.

Received a  call on Saturday from a blocked number  saying I had won the secondary Mega Millions .  I was to be awarded 2 million dollars and a Mercedes. All I had to do was to go to Walmart and purchase a $1000.00 transfer made out to a  person in Ohio .  I could then get a refund from Walmart after I was awarded my $2 million and Mercedes.  I played along and wasted his time, took all the info etc.  He was supposed to call me back to get the transfer number (so they could go pick up my $1000.00) and then my prize would be delievered.  HAHAHA.   They were supposed to call back within 3 hours to get this information.  Now it is Wednesday and I received a call from this number with another person who said he were the person who called on Saturday.  He wanted to know if I had gotten the Walmart transfer.   Totally different voice but this time the above number showed on my caller id.   I told them if they thought I had believed their SCAM they were pretty dumb and hung up.  I should have strung him along again.
