Multiple people from this # have been talking to my husband trying to make him believe they're with Amazon and an account with our name/s has been opened trying to make a $1400 purchase. They tried to get more info and to convince him that he needed to go to Walgreens and purchase a red Amazon card and give them the card info.

don't call back, this is a scam. they sent an email telling you that a purchase with ID number and paid 1400$ with Amazon

Do not call them!
Check your Amazon for any activity, forward that email to  “stop-spoofing@amazon.com”
