Lots of calls from this number lately.  Didn't answer, no VM left

877-204-6553 is a number for Credence Resource Management, a debt collection agency. The calling party has a distinct South Asian (Indian or Pakistani) accent. The address for Credence Resource Management, LLC. is 17000 Dallas Parkway #204,. Dallas, TX 75248.
I did not answer (I don't answer any inbound calls anymore unless they are in my contact list), but called the number back on a phone that I masked my caller ID on. I'm not quite sure why this company is calling my phone (I have no unpaid debts), but it's possible that the number has been usurped and spoofed by a scammer.

I have no debt. So this cannot be a debt collector calling for me.. They keep calling my new cell number. I think it is just a scammer trying to get information to breach my personal information.

I think it is exactly what other posters have said it is.  Why does everyone think that their "information" is that valuable?  The caller would not know who you are or what your credit rating is.  You could have a Fico score in the 300's for all they know.  Then what would they do with that?  They certainly would not be able to open any accounts or get loans to default on.  This is a new phone number?

All phone numbers are recycled.  No one gets rid of a number without a good reason since it a pain in the butt to notify everyone.  So now you know why the former owners got rid of that number.

FYI, you did not "mask your number". 877 is a toll free number and you cannot prevent your information from being seen by them since they are paying the bill for the call.

Many calls from this number lately. No voicemails left so I don't know why they're calling. Blocking the number.

This is a Debt Collection agency, I made the mistake of answering it,  and yes it was an Asian man. He told me that I owed AT&T something like $200, I laughed and hung up, and now is on my block list. I have Never and Never would use that conglomerate money eating machine.

They keep calling but leave no email, I will not answer so if they cant leave a message then I believe it to be a scam so I will block it.

I have received one or two calls from this number, at least every other day, for the last 1.5 years. Would a scammer really commit THIS MUCH labor to someone who hasn't answered even 1 of 300 calls? This thread makes me think yes!  Should I mess with them?

Someone used my info as a contact person so that could have been ur reason for the call.

Keep calling my cell every few days and I reject the call.  I have no debt and the same number for years.  They are just rolling robo calls to ac/exchange numbers hoping to scam someone.  No laws will ever shut them down.  Just like junk mail.

I get at least 2 calls a day from this number! I’ve answered it once and I couldn’t understand the person at all. Have No idea what language he normally speaks but it’s No where near the English language. So I just don’t answer anymore but it’s quite annoying!

I still get these calls from 1-877-204-6553 every morning around 8:30 am monday thru saturday and sometimes on sunday..They don't leave any type of message and I don't owe any type of debt and it's getting very troublesome,

Finally answered after daily calls for weeks.  Indian speaking man asked for my sons dad.  We have not been together for 17yrs and I have had a new number for the past 5yrs.  I said he did not live here and caller apologized, said have a good day and hung up.
