877-204-8064 the people called me at first but would not tell me what the claim against me was about so I said I'm not going to give you any information unless I know what this was about so I said mail me documents and the said they can't tell me anything until they verify my information so I hung up.. now my wife get a phone call from a person and left a message that they are trying to locate me at my work or residence my wife got really scared what do I do now..

You don't need to do anything. This is a scam. A legitimate debt collector would mail you proof of the debt along with proof they're legally entitled to collect it.

If they call again, let them know they are being recorded (legal in most states), and demand the name of their company with a legitimate mailing address in which to send a debt validation letter VIA certified mail with return receipt requested. If they refuse, tell them your lawyer will get this information for you and hang up.

Have had several calls from 877.204.8064 ignored them but finally called the number to see what we got. The exact same voice. I.e. person who has been calling answered the number as national. When I told them I knew it was them personally making the calls they hung up on me after I failed to give them my name. I told them they had my number so look it up for themselves. As soon as they hung up they called our other number.. same person..voice .. very unique. Asking if it was myself. I told them you know it is you just hung up on me on the other line. So they hung up again. Rofl. And I am hoping this gets us off their calling list.
