Meridian Legal phone scam!!

Received a call from this # person would not give me any information just that they were suing me and wanted to verify my personal information.

Person called from this number 8772058120 and said they were sueing me for 2100 dollers and wanted my personal information.

They refused to give me an address or a proper name for the company and never mailed me anything.  Did you obtain any information from them? I have called them back 5 times to demand this information and they told me that I am  now harassing them.

Operator wouldn't shut up long enough to listen and then refused to call capital 1 to verify account was taken care of.
Also account is 10 years old.

This number called me they said I was being sued for 1000 bucks! Said it was MasterCard? I have never owned a MasterCard!

Bogus bill collector posing as Sheriff's Dept. attempting to get personal info on a family member. to "serve legal papers".  When I refused, they said they could give the paperwork to ME to accept on their behalf.  Total phishing scam.  Company probably bought some 10+ yrs old debt, and are desperate to get any info to try to collect on it.  It isn't legal to talk to other people concerning someone else's debt accounts, or to serve papers to anyone else.  These people are stupid.

Called said they had a court summons. Was very rude and loud. I hung up on her. She said her name was Sandy. They also called my place of employment..

They just called my stepdaughter and said her phone number was the one that was on file for her father.  Funny her dad doesn't even know her phone number, but tried to scare her into getting information saying she would be in trouble.  Over these SCAMMING POS!!!  Told her they had papers to serve her dad.  Said they have our address.  If they have our address, then send the papers!

They have called me 3xs wanting info on my father.  My dad has never put my phone# on anything he ever has applied for because he is an adult and doesn't need his childs help financially.  They are scamming.  Says he has legal documents to sign and they have his address - SO SEND THEM TO HIM- and leave me alone.

This number has been calling me for over a year, from a restricted phone number.  They told me they were coming to serve me legal papers, they never came out to my house, they just keep playing games!

Block them.  There are NO papers - real process servers do not call first!

Left a voice message at 5:20pm saying we're from Pavilion Payments and we're calling about my VIP Preferred status.  They then call again at 6:40 pm., same number with unknown caller.  I answered and asked who was calling.  I was told the same thing that the message said.  They asked if I was a certain person, I said no but I could take a message.  I also told him that someone had left a message earlier but with a different representation and extension number.  I hung up.  I don't know who these people are, if you don't recognize the name, you obviously don't have an account with them.
