calling back gives someone called eocca.  other web sites identify them as some type of debt company.  we do not do business with them.

Also got a call, answerd it and no one was there. Called them back... No answer.

These people call MULTIPLE times a day on different numbers and whenever we answer there is no one on the line, I have waited up to 10 seconds. We have never received any letters from them or know of ANY outstanding debt - I finally called the number when it showed up on my cell phone ID and called 4Xs in one day telling them to take us off the list (and they promised they had) as they have broken the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act in SEVERAL ways and they continue to threaten, lie, but not give us any information (as I will not release personal info to someone I have never heard of) They are unscrupulous, rude and blatant liars. If these people are doing this to you. Please report them, I have requested they mail mje  information and they say they have done that, they have screamed, threatened, not identified themselves, lied, called at inappropriate times and numbers, etc....completely NEVER HEARD OF THESE PEOPLE! Please read the act below as we as consumers also have rights.  By the way, it does SOUND LIKE they are saying EOCCA, but when I pinned them down to alpha/beta/echo it for me...it is EOS which is deffinately different from what it sounds like on their automated answer, EOS a international debt collection company with only a CA base that I could find). I just want to know who the hell are these people? And let you know becareful cause it sures seems fishy to me, and I wont give them info.

PS ....if anyone does know anything about either of these companies (because it is the same phone number) please share!

BTW...We DON'T beleive this is the true EOS debt collection company that is calling from this number, but possibly someone trying to pose as them, the EOS is a true debt collection company (who we have never had any actual interaction with for any debt). call from EOCCA, asking about someone I have never heard of. Would not identify who EOCCA is or where their main office is or what kind of business they are. I told the man to remove me from any call list and he said it would take 72 hours. I told him that I wanted no further contact from this point forward, not 72 hours..He just hung up.  I have the "Do Not Call List" on my phone. Why can this company call me and not even identify who they are or what their intent is and not be breaking the FCC law?.

This number calls a dozen and a half times a day.  The last time they called (mere minutes ago), I asked them to please identify themselves, and the woman refused, and kept asking me for my address.  I repeated myself, asking her who she is, what company she was with, and what she wanted, and she blatantly ignored me and kept asking me for my address.  I finally got upset and raised my voice, asking her "Madam, what do you want? You called me, not the other way around. So state your business."  And she hung up.  

I'm assuming they'll call again in an hour.....

This company has called me twice before. When I called the number they said on the message they left to get my number removed from their list, it said they were EOC or EOCCA or something (it was very diffiicult to understand) and that it wasn't their normal business hours. I simply have labeled the number as "Scam" and set my phone not to ring when they call.

A mechanical voice says it's calling for "Clifford Wormoff" (who ever that may be).It continues, "If you are not Clifford Wormoff, please call (877)207-1406. Please hang up and do not listen to this personal information."

I have received this message four times. I have also received others like it that have a pause in the message where the name of the person being called fails to be inserted.

I received call from mechanical voice, looking for Ramon Jasso or information about him. I could call Kerry Smith @ 1-877-207-1406. Do not know this person & if I did I need to get paid to response with information. Times are hard and information cost.

My husband has not received a phone call from this company but for some reason they are calling my brother and my sister who lives in another state husband asking them if they could help find my husband and to return the call at their number. We have NEVER used them as a reference for anything and our home phone number is not unlisted. So my sister called and they wouldn't tell her how they got her information or why they are trying to reach him. I called them to ask what their real company name was and they hung up on me. How can they track down family memebers but could open a phone book and find our phone number?

Yeah when I asked them to tell me what EOCCA stands for I was hung up on.

These People...if you could call them people...are flat out [***].  They are breaking laws all over the place.  They are rude, beligerant, and have caustic mouths.  These people should be reported.  They use a "family" tactic.  They do skip traces in order to find any person associated with the person they want to collect from; and once they have found you; they virtually beat you over the head with phone calls looking for the family member.  This is illegal.  This is harrassment on a level I have never experienced before.

What good is our government's 'DO NOT CALL" program?   With more and more people switching to cell phones where incoming calls cost minutes, these offenders need to be shut down!
SWAMP THE FCC WITH YOUR COMPLAINTS!   THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT US...BEING PAID WITH OUR TAX MONEY!

I think this is a debt collector.  They keep "robo-calling" for different people, none of whom lives at our house, and telling us to call this number if we aren't so-and-so.  When we call, we're on hold forever.  UGH!

I work in Fraud Operations for a major Credit Card company.  This appears to be a complete hoax.  I live in AZ and they have been contacting me using my former married name, which I have not used in 18 years.  I checked my credit report with all 3 of agencies and have no outstanding debt.  DO NOT release your information to these folks.  I intend to file a police report and call the Attorney General.

I am TIRED of these calls!!! I don't know who they want & how do I get them to stop?

I have recieved harrassing and overbearing calls from this number saying that if I didnt return the call I would be held liable.  They were looking for my neighbor.  They were very rude and it seemed to be an automated call until towards then end  and I got mad and slammed the phone down on them.  I didnt answer the phone all the rest of the day.  I hope by reporting this people like this can be stopped.  They said they were a collection agency it really ticks me off they could call a neighbor and try to get information about the other neighbor and then say I am liable for him.  Baloney.

I just got a call from this number an hour ago and the caller identified himself as Luis Rivera and I didnt hear the company name.  He had a thick spanish accent and he knew my first and last name and asked for my current address.  I asked what this was concerning and he said "we will get right to that, I just need your address".  I know I owe some debt and all, but I wouldnt imagine someone having my cell phone and just wanting my address.  I worry they might try to tow my car or worse if they find out my address.  I told them I am at work (which I am) and call me back later, and hung up on them.  If they call me again I am going to ignore it and send it to voicemail.  Thank you for this message board to warn me ahead of time that this is a Telepest!
