I received a call at my residence wanting something to do with getting my business ranked in the top of the web searches. It was a recording. I pressed 0 thinking I could talk to someone to remove my number from their listing, but it just hung up on me. I called the number on my caller id right back and spoke with someone. I asked them to remove my number as this is not a business line. The guy I spoke to said he would remove it. We'll see.

Within a week of getting a new iPhone, I received an unsolicited call from this number.  No response when I took the call.  Hopefully it won't happen again.

Another [***] scam telemarketing outfit. Call them back 1000 times and tell the pieces of garbage to get a job.

Idiots called me a few min ago.  Told them to go to hell.  Hope that works...lol.

This number calls me every day, usually one or two times a day.  I usually do not even pick it.  But today, I picked up the receiver, then immediately hung up the call.  They started calling me like crazy.  Every ten minutes. Each time I would pick it up and then hang up immediately. One time, I did not immediately hang up and listened. And I could tell someone was on the other end listening too. One time I even answered it and threw the phone in my desk drawer, then slammed the drawer. The last time I picked it up and placed the receiver on my desk and after a few minutes I heard their message about improving my website ranking and how my website is not listed with google.  Funny thing is, If you google my occupation or the type service I provide, together with any combination of the state where I do business, my site comes up on the first page of google or in the middle of the second page. So how can my website not be listed or ranked with google?  Typical telemarketing scum!

Number belongs to GEN OPERATIONS.  Person refused to allow me to speak, promised me 500 gallons of gas for signing up. She said there is a fee of $50.49 to activate.  I told her in emphatic language that I was not interested and to be sure that I am not charged for any offers.  She said it was too late to cancell, that all that was required was answering the phone.

I just got a call from that number and they hung up when I answered.  I called them back and told them I was going to report it also.  The said they were called "Local Results" to me also.

I called the number that came up on the caller ID. I asked the operator chick to please take me off of their calling list. She asked if it was okay to tell me about the reason they were calling. I said sure. She searched my company name on google with the city its in and sure enough, my business was in the top three. So she kindly told me that she would remove me from their calling list because we do not need their services! I was surprised on how polite she was. I thanked her for her help and now Im hoping I dont get any more calls from them. :)

If the guy said he was going to make you miserable, he committed an illegal act.   Collectors are not allowed by law to threaten you, and making your life miserable is a threat.

I have gotten several calls from these people regarding putting my website at the top of the listing in Google.    I always ask them one question - if your house was 3 inches deep in water would you go to your computer and start searching the internet for a water damage restoration company?  They usually pause for a second, and then the smart ones of course answer No because you would possibly get electrocuted if you did!

Recorded message saying my website does not show up on Google for the search terms 'your business type in your location.'  Really? Why would anyone do a search for 'your business type in your location?'

Yeesh people gimme a break.

They can make me number 1 for my business type in my location. Lovely.

Reported them as a recorded message. This is at least the 4th time they've called this week.

Calling about once a day while I'm at work.  Leaves no message.  Assuming they're what everyone else is posting here, since I do have a website and use to have a business 10 years ago!

1. Send a CEASE AND DESIST NOTICE telling them you refuse to pay the debt and that they are to stop calling you (fax it and mail it to their legal department certified mail)
2. File a complaint with the FCC

The company is Big Local Results.  The CSR rep I spoke to when I called them back (Brandon) was a cocky, rude SOB and would not remove my number from their call list.  Now I am going to file any compalint I can with whomever I can.

Same as above poster. Guy kept calling me "bud" and insisted Our website was not ranked in the top ten results. Every search I did for anything remotely relating to our company proved the #1 result in Tampa and surrounding areas. He kept insisting I was 18 pages back. They have called 11 times today!

Ask them their ID for your records and then record their threats, if possible.  If not, write exactly what they said to you.  Compile that list and any documentation you get from them and find a class action attorney.  Asset Acceptance makes a great plaintiff in class action cases.
