three calls from this number today. 877-218-0174

I am constantly getting calls from this number about a loan I have applied for.  It tells me to call back on phone number listed on my Caller ID.  The number I call back tells me the phone is not in service. . Do not call it back.  I have never applied for a loan with this telephone number.

Has called the past 2 days. Its for a loan approval that I've never applied for. I tried to cut the woman off to tell her to stop calling but she kept talking & pushing buttons.

That number has been calling me for a few weeks now.  I've answered a couple times and tried calling it back.  It's the same as others have said.  I answer, I hear background call-center noise and then someone starts telling me to hold the line and I'm going to be transferred.  The transfer is to an auto-message asking me to hit 0 and then disconnects.  Calling back results in an error and unconnected call.

This last time I quickly said twice to remove me from their call list and the lady paused for a moment (I believe), but transfered me anyways.  I just called my cell phone provider (sprint) and had them block the number finally.

However, it is completely illegal for them to ignore a request to be removed from a calling list.
