Rcvd a txt message frm shortcode 3638 saying:

voicemail@regions.com/ Voicemail from 1-877-218-3248/ Voicemail from Regions. You have a new voicemail message from 1-877-218-3248. Thank you.

So I've called this # 5 times. The first red flag: I don't have anything affiliated with Regions! So the first time I call, it rings infinitely with no answer. Next 4 times, I get a recording saying my account is restricted & to enter my account #, expiration date, and "to protect my privacy & security" my pin #!! Every time, I put 0# hoping to get someone to be mad enough to act as "operator" (since obviously it's bogus anyway). No such success. They eventually tell me to call Customer Service 24/7 (no contact #) for further assistance. So I've reported this to Regions' legitimate customer service & have also reported it to antiphishing.org

I would like to know if there is any information as to who has this 877 # registered. Thanks!

I received a voicemail on my business line, and I was told to call this number (877-218-3248).  They had to get to me through the receptionist.  I thought it was fishy when she just said that she was told I was the best person to talk to and to call her back at 877-218-3248.  The 877 number tells me it's most likely a sales call, and coupled with the vague message with no details, I should've known.

I wasn't going to call.  I googled the number and then decided to call back and get us off their list, whatever it was.

It must be a telemarketer who is working for various companies, because she had to find the file to see why she called me.  It turned out to be some organization that does "free" "voluntary" stress testing and work for companies on a regular basis.  REALLY?

I said no thanks, our insurance company provides that, and please take us off your list.
