I called the phone number back and they called my parents saying that I would be served legal documents. I just ignored and informed my mom to tell them not to call back.

Got a call from this number statiing that there charges brought against me and the guy that called was jack bennett. Said if I dont call them back to verify my address and work place that I was being charged. I call my local police department and they looked up my info and told me its a scam

I received a call today from Tony Smith, 877-218-7553.  I called back and was sent to someone's voicemail and I did not leave a message.  I called back again and got a voicemail, with no company name, again I did not leave a message.  I called a 3rd time and finally reached someone.  The woman said that I did not pay a payday loan from a 2013 and I told her I most certainly did pay it back and I had bank statements to prove it.  She forwarded me to a 'manager' and he was quite rude, said that bank statements would not be a sufficient means of documentation and that there are some very serious legal charges against me.  I told him that I know my rights as a consumer and I wanted debt validation.  He said that I should explain all of this to the judge and hung up on me.

Just asked for my address and work address and that I am going to be charged. I have paid everything back so I know that this is wrong. So is this a scam and should we just ignore them?

Just got a call from a private number would not tell me what it was about but said something about being served legal documnets. I don't owe anything but keep getting these call at work and have requested them to quit call but the keep insisting on calling me. They told me to call 877-218-7553 and give them a case #. This sounds like a scam to me.

I just got the same call at my place of employment saying they will serve me papers. This is a scam.
