Its so annoying. That person calls me everyday. I picked it up once, it was a woman with a indian/tamil accent looking for some girl. She was looking for a girl named shikra or something. I fully told her she had the wrong number but she still calls. -_-"

I wish these ignorant people would stop calling. They are wasting my time and their money.

This outfit calls regularly for an account that was paid off over 5 years ago!!!

I have been receiving calls from this number for the past month at least once a day.  I thought they were a banking outfit but I see above that they're a debt collector.  I don't have any debts outstanding so they must have a wrong number.  How can I stop them calling.

This person repeatedly calls my cell phone and does not leave a message. I do not have any debt whatsoever.

I did so today and will see if the calls stopped.

= COLLECTION AGENCY TRYING TO COLLECT ON OLD DEBTS FROM TD BANK/TD CANADA TRUST !!!
Unless you owe TD $$$ & want to pay their collection agency, WHICH WILL PERPETUATE THE PROBLEM
~ TD HAS PROBABLY WRITTEN YOUR DEBT OFF & ALLIANCE IS TRYING TO COLLECT ON IT !
We doubt that TD understands the NEGATIVE IMPACT this has on their BRAND IMAGE !!!

Most people pestered by these companies end up canceling any business dealings (eg. accounts, investments etc.) they have with TD & move to their COMPETITORS, so whatever $$$'s TD gets from Alliance is certainly not worth the NEGATIVE IMAGE on TD's BRAND & their REVENUES !!!
Too bad TD (& similar businesses) have not figured this out !

PS - in many cases they have the wrong phone # or are seeking a previous resident that has moved (since the debt is old), BUT they will keep contacting that # = another reason to NOT ANSWER !

I have been receiving calls on my cell phone from collection agencies for 3 years since I got the number asking for a Mr. Olsen I wonder if its you they are calling about.  Anyway, I was being harassed by these agencies so I reported them to Better Business Bureau and they sent a letter to the companies involved.  I have only had one call in the last few months but today I received a call from the above number and am wondering if its starting up again.  Very annoying.
