Received physical letter mail with this phone number claiming to be a third party student loan services repayment compan promising to consolidate student loans. It's a scam. I've contacted the real company where the student loans were due to and they say they are not due until after graduation - not while the student is still enrolled. These people will try to get your personal information by getting you to sign up for a parent PLUS "id" or "pin" number so they can access your information. Do not believe them or they WILL steal your personal information. ALWAYS contact your loan providers at the source! Never through third parties advertising that you can save money through them.

By the way - if that fake company is reading this, please stop being a stain on society. I'm sure you'll change your number to another one now that this number has some heat but I'm sure you'll eventually get caught and I really hope you're prepared for the weight of those consequences when you do.

Received VM at my work no. from someone named "Amanda Brown". Said they're processing my "plaque" for "2017 Top Doctor Award" and wanted me to call back today to verify accuracy before they send it out. I'm a PhD, not an MD so I knew it was bogus. Wow. Luring people by appealing to their ego.

Just had a call saying I was nominated for a top doc award too.

figured it was some kind of scam.

I had pretty much the same experience as others above.  The call came in from from 315-930-4491, and the callback number was 877-247-0879. The voicemail was from "Molly Black,"  saying she was "calling in regards to your 2017 top Doctor Award. Your plaque is being processed; we just need verification to make sure everything is accurate before it is sent out to you."

Clearly a scam. I'm not calling back, though I might report them to www.donotcall.gov.

I got a call at my work from "Amanda Miller" saying I was nominated for a 2017 top doc award. Sounded bogus, glad I looked it up first. Call-back number 877-247-0879 x105. Posting for others to see. Not planning to call back.

Got a VM from "Jessica Sullivan" at 631-259-6492. Apparently, I'm a Top Doctor - won't my parents be proud! Call back number was 877-247-0879 x116.  Needless to say, I will not call back.

Got a VM from Jennifer at 877-247-0879 x119 with same details as above - to verify information for my 2017 Top Psychologist award.  Do not plan to call back.

I received a similar message from a "Katie Matt" at ext 113. I've been selected for a "Top Doctor Award" and she just want to make sure that everything is correct before she sends it out. I did not reply.

I got a message from work to call "Nancy" at ext 116. I, too, was "selected for Top Doctor Award." I have only practiced for a year. Scam was confirmed once they wanted my credit card.

Called asking for our Doctor to talk about his 2017 Top Doctor Award.

Knew it was scam also, should not have to pay for an award if it is real. The plaque that they want us to buy is close to $300! I listened and then hung up on them. Crazy!

Just got a call stating the doctor I work for is the "Top doctor in the world".  Told them I already know that and hung up.  Scam.

Received a VM on our clinic phone stating our provider had been named Top Doc and they needed verification for plaque details.  Person that left message said she was Kelly Pendergass.  Left a call back number of 877-247-0879 x104.  Called the number back and got a message that said, "This call cannot be reached from your area" - this indicates that the caller (me) has been blocked.  Thanks to all these other posts, I am certain it is a scam.

Received a voicemail saying I was receiving a plaque for top PT in 2017 but needed confirmation of plaque details.  The message was from Kelly Pendergass at 1-877-247-0879 ext 104.  I had a feeling it was a scam, and thanks to this post, I am certain it is a scam.

Received a call from Kelly Pendergast 877-247-0879 at extension 104 to "verify" my Top Doctor award.  This is a scam!

Got a call from "Kim" saying I was top pediatrician in Missouri. Tempted to call back to mess with them, but I am actually a busy pediatrician, so I won't be playing today.

Call from Mickey Charles @ 877-247-0879 x-108.....regarding my selection for a Top Dr. Award.  Finally I get the recognition that I truly deserve......Thanks for the acknowledgement but all I really need is verification from my patients that I'm helping them......Don't need a plaque.
