- ONever anybody on the phone and they only call my cell .. great now have to pay for "nobody" to call me. I saved their number under do not answer in my contacts so that when the number calls, it shows up as do not answer. Upon recall the female recording claims all circuits are busy and we should try our call at another time.

- MMC| 1 replyGot a call from this number and at first a woman was on the line saying we qualified for a $60 phone service rebate... All I said was "OK" and next thing I know a man is on the line confirming our business name, address, phone number and my name and title. They had all the wrong info and I (like an idiot) corrected some of it. Then he said to hold on for 15 seconds so they could take our phone number out of the call list and a recording came on with a woman's voice (going a mile a minute) giving a 866 number for customer service and that this was a 30 day trial and that we could cancel at anytime, but a charge of $49.95 would appear after that on our phone bill and they gave a website address, which doesn't work. The guy came back on and said thank goodbye, before I could ask what was going on and cancel whatever I had just done... I'm pretty sure it said npshelp.com was the site... Anyone know??

- KMC replies to MMCI just had the same problem, i ended up yelling no! NO! i hope your recording this!! and the guy was very rude, and slick! They had better not charge me for that!! I punched redial and got a recording that all circuits were busy, if anyone knows who this is -let me know, i'd love to yell at them again.
- STEPHANIE| 2 repliesI JUST HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME AT MY COMPANY FROM THIS NUMBER. THE LADY SAID WE QUALIFIED FOR A FREE PACKET FOR THEIR COMPANIES INFO, AN IT ALSO CONTAINED $60 IN LIKE COUPONS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. THEN SHE TOLD ME TO VERIFY THE ADDRESS WITH THE SHIPPING DEPT. HE VERIFIED ALL THE CORRECT INFO AND TOLD ME TO LISTEN TO A 20-25 SECOND DISCLAIMER. WHEN I HEARD THAT 40 SOME ODD DOLLERS WERE GOIN TO BE CHARGED TO THE ACCOUNT,I TOLD HIM TO WAIT AND THAT SHE SAID NOTHING ABOUT A CHARGE TO THE ACCOUNT. HE TOLD ME IT WAS A CURTICY CALL FROM THE TELLEPHONE COMPANIES I.T. CENTER. I TOLD HIM NOT TO SEND IT AND HE SAID 'OH MY GOD I CANT BELIEVE THIS [***]' AND HUNG UP IN MY FACE. I TRIED TO CALL THE NUMBER BACK AND IT THE NUMBER TOLD ME THAT 'ALL CURCUTS WERE BUSY'

- Kim replies to STEPHANIE| 1 replyI received a call from this number at my business just now. It is just like all of the other posters have said. The $60 was ours to keep regardless, etc. etc. The lady asked if a certain person was still manager & I said he's been out for several years & that we change yearly. She requested the new person's name & I refused to give it. I told her that we don't accept calls like this & that she was wasting my time. Before I could hang up on her I heard her screaming back that I was wasting her time! I would love to know how to keep them from being able to call back.
- aieGot a call at work. upon realization that they had reached a place of empoyment, they promptly hung-up. Upon recall, ladies voice claims all circuits are busy and to retry your call again later.
- cc replies to KimDid you ever get charged for anything...I just received a similar call..a recording came on about a no risk offer for $49.99..
- ccA nice woman came on the phone....she took my business address....name...etc....then a recording comes on that says a "no risk offer" for $49.99....I hung up......
- MMCUPDATE- I actually got a packet in the mail from Merchant Technical Solutions. I called the general info name they gave and asked to cancel whatever scam service this was. The lady was nice I guess, but after about 5 minutes of rambling she said to cancel I needed to call another number. So then I called the other number and said I wanted to cancel because I was still within my 30 day "free" trial or whatever and he said a charge had already been sent out to the phone company (it was only 20 days later), but that a credit would go out also. He gave me a confirmation number and everything. But I already talked to the phone company and they are aware of this SCAM and said they would deispute any charges for us. Also, the packet had the wrong business info, but my correct name on it... JUST DON'T SAY YES TO ANYTHING IF THESE PEOPLE CALL YOU!!!! They've already called back at least 4 times since I've cancelled!

- AngI totally thought these people were with the phone company and so I gave them my name like a moron and said that I was an employee. They had all of our information right either way... and then the guy put on the recording. After they went through the whole recording spiel with the "no risk charge" or whatever and that guy came back on the phone and I was like you did NOT tell me that and I am NOT authorized to make those kind of decisions and I hung up. I called the customer service number that they said in the recording right afterward - 866-576-1878 - and a lady answered the phone... I explained things to her and she said she would put a block on my number so that if the transaction did go through that it would be cancelled right away. Knowing my luck I probably agreed to something else by talking to her, but at least I have her name and extension number, haha. My boss is not going to be happy with me if this goes through...

- egurldid anyone get charged the 49.99 i had the same call and the lady gave me the 18665761878 and they did not know what i was talking about?
- DukeKept getting calls from them, so I answered today. Guy said that he was calling to let me know that I was going to be receiving some information about "the phone company" in a purple envelope so I could be on the look-out for it. OK. "My call today is to read the address to you so I can verify..." I had heard enough...CLICK.
- JPFor those above make sure they did not change your telephone carrier. If they did it is called slamming and you need to file a complaint with the FCC. You should also be able to call your old phone carrier and they would tell you who your services were ported over to and how to reach them.

- melissa| 1 replycalled and wanted to verify my mailing address so they could send me tech support information... I asked if this was a telemarketing call and she said no she only needed to verify our info and let us know that they were mailing the package out. I told her why bother to verify it if you already have it? she hung up.. ************************** WATCH OUT THIS IS A SCAM>> THEY ARE TRYING TO GET YOUR RECORDED VOICE STATING YOUR ADDRESS SO THEY CAN PROCESS CHARGES ONTO YOUR TELEPHONE BILL.**********************************
- Anthonyscam scam scam..CRIMINALS. Got the original call from this number and didn't authorize anything but I did verify my address with them. So I called the customer service number they gave me to make sure that they were not going to charge me for anything and assert that I didn't authorize any services or anything as I suspected something fishy and the guy was rude, condescending and said that his company didn't know who it was that called me and that his company handles customer service for alot of telemarketers. I said "If I give you their phone number can you find out the company that called me?" He said no and that that was considered "technical information'. He took my name and address and Phone # and said he would put in an order for cancellation. How he was going to do this I don't know if he didn't even know the company that called me, he also gave me a confirmation number. I then asked for the name of the company that he worked for and he said that was "technical Information" as well. i almost burst out laughing. He said I would have to fax in a request for their name. I told him this was probably the shadiest phone call I had ever been, said goodbye and hung up.
