Caller said she was with the Senior Information Center in Albuquerque, NM and was offering a free inspection of our Revokable Living Trust. She said they didn't have a web site, just the toll free number 877-247-2444. She gave the name Monica. She promised to have someone come to our home and look over our Trust.

    I am a 81 yr old woman.
I too rec. a call - Juan from Senior Info Center.--Wants to send some one to my home  -free of charge-
to go over my Trust. I said my call ID indicated "out of area" where are you calling from?  He said Albuquerque,NM. I told him I didn't want to deal with someone from NM - I live in CA.  He said he would send(spelling it) Curt Hespe from Trabuco Canyon, Ca.  I told him NO...He said -think it over and call me back on 877-247-2444.  I then checked Curt Hespe - found a name and number in Trabuco Canyon -
Insurance Co.. 1-949-589-8583.  This all sounds to drawn out and fishy to me.
I am really uneasy - To start with how would someone at a Senior Center in New Mexico -
know I am a Senior Cit. and have a Trust???

Ok..... I happened to come across this little forum as I was checking something for Curt. I just HAD to create a user name so I could reply to these messages and try to set things straight lol. Now my name is Mike and I work for the Senior Information Center in our headquarters(main office) in Albuquerque. We are not a scam or anything like that... The Senior Information Center is a group of licensed financial advisors in states such as California, New Mexico, Hawaii, Ohio, and a few more.. Like I said, our main office where we call from is in Albuquerque, and our job is to set the appointments for the advisors at the clients' residence. The people we call and set with are mostly seniors that have a living trust, and we just have the advisor go to their home and review their living trust for free. Now we don't HAVE to set with only seniors, if the client is interested and is young as 18 years old that is fine as well. Also, If we call somebody that does not have a living trust or even a will, we quickly try to explain to them how important it is to eventually set up a living trust so they can protect their assets from probate. Our advisors not only do the free reviews but if a client is interested, they do free living trust information appointments as well. The information appointment usually takes only 20-30 minutes, and the advisor basically just gets to know the client(s). They also briefly go over the differences between a living trust and a living will, they give a price range on how much it would cost to set up their own trust, and just explain some ways to protect their estates from probate. Now I'm sure you're all wondering "well why is this service free?" I get that question almost every other phone call.. The reason the review is free is because instead of spending a lot of money in advertising, we'd rather spend money investing you... And all that means is instead of charging you, we show you how knowledgable our advisors are and how great of a service we are able to provide by doing the free reviews and information. Then all we ask from you is that if by any chance a friend or family member is ready to set up their trust, or if they need to update an existing trust, you would recommend our services to them. So we basically prefer and rely on "word of mouth" advertising. So that basically sums up the service our business provides. I promise you we are not trying to be annoying telemarketers or trying to scam old people, it's nothing like that at all. Yes the reviews and info is free, but if the advisor notices that you would need to update your trust, of course its going to cost some money to update and yes they are going to try and do it for you.. But to get a free living trust review by a very knowledgable fincancial advisor for FREE is definitely very beneficial to you because most lawyers will charge you anywhere from $300-$800 just to review your living trust, then of course tack on an extra couple hundred bucks to update everything for you as well. So if you read this and you do have a living trust, try to get it reviewed, it couldn't hurt you, it'll just benefit you in the long run. And the state also recommends a trust review atleast every 18 months or so because you know how they are... Constantly changing laws, rules, regulations, etc.. Anyways I hope that this message helped clear some things up for you, and if you decide you would like to actually get the free review done or the free info, don't hesitate to give me a call at 877-247-2444 and ask for Mike! :o)        (lol of course I had to put that in here!)

Curt Hespe is an insurance agent.  He is using deceptive tactics to gain access to people's homes.  His phone number is 949-589-8583.  I just cancelled my appt.  His caller told me that he worked for medicare and wanted to advise me of some changes in prices and coverage!  Another scam!
