- bcindyfreethanks Wendyree for identifying this caller as my caller id isn't working right now it is not showing the business name. I use this site frequently to look up who an unknown caller is so I can figure out if it important or not. It helps me with personal and business harrassement. In this case I did open an Ally Bank account so I now I know I need to call them tomorrow regarding my new account that I am working right now to set up. Thank you so much! Have a wonderful day!
- Caller: Ally Bank
- DS LimitedSome phone calls appearing to be from Ally Bank could be scam phone calls. It is posslble for people to use false caller ID,s to steal personal information. In addition, Ally Bank usually blocks their caller ID when calling people, according to their customer service department. Never give anyone your personal or account information, unless you made the call, yourself.
DS Limited- Caller: ?? Ally Bank ??
- Call type: Prank
- Me28This is an official phone number to Ally Bank.
You can confirm this, by seeing the number as their main toll-free phone number, on their website. - NightSkyGuyI recently filed a charge dispute. This may well be Ally Bank calling back, though as others have noted, it's easy to spoof a phone number and Caller ID information. There was no Caller ID on this call, however.
There really needs to be a call type of "Legitimate Business"- Caller: BELIEVED: Ally Bank
- JoeScam, call I'd spoof call to get.as much account information from you as the can by saying you are on a recorded call trying to intimidate you. SCAMMER, SCAMMER, SCAMMER.
- Caller: Scam call for passwords Ally Bank

- Todd on Long IslandThis is legitimately ALLY bank. I got a call the other day which was legit for me as I am a customer.
P.S. this is the first time I've posted a comment for a LEGITIMATE phone number (as opposed to the dozens and dozens of illegitimate calls)- Caller: ALLY bank
- KateThis was a legitimate call from Ally Bank regarding an application I had submitted for a savings account.
- Caller: Ally Bank
- OwnerOfACellPhoneVery odd this number, it was part of a group blast. I recognise none of the numbers. Suspect a scam. Have blocked them all.
- darryl robida replies to Wendyree| 1 replyi called ally bank using 877-247-2559, somehow my call was intercepted. the guy said his name was dallas he wanted my cc numbers, was going to send me a $100 gift card all that [***]......
- BigA replies to darryl robidaMost likely you dialed the number wrong. They are smart enough to set up phone numbers one or two digits off from real company numbers, knowing that anyone who calls the wrong number will get them.

- SBLegitimate number from Ally Bank
- Caller: Ally Bank
- Call type: Valid
- jgI am an Ally customer and this is their legitimate 1-800 number, however it's being spoofed to SCAM people. They pretend to be from Ally fraud department and say the charges that are on the account and ask if they're yours or not. Was told I'd be getting a new debit card and they texted me a verification number for my identification, but stated they needed my current 4 digit pin number so they can erase it, that was when I knew this isn't the bank. I hung up and called Ally myself at their 877-247-2559 number and was told there wasn't anything on my account and they changed my card and username for me just in case. NEVER give these people info over the phone unless you've called them yourself.

- Concertnancer| 2 repliesScammers spoofing Ally Financial’s number.
- Caller: Ally Financial Spoofer
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- BigA replies to ConcertnancerI would believe the other posters before I believed you because at least they knew what the call was about.
- Concertnancer replies to ConcertnancerGot part of a message asking me to verify if I had authorized a certain transaction on my crypto currency account. I don’t use Ally Bank, and I don’t use crypto currency. Scammers are spoofing Ally’s number. If you get a call from your bank asking for information, you should hang up and call your bank back at an official number.
