Called my bio dad whom I have not had contact with in over 10 years and told him personal info about me and said I used him as a reference. I have never used my dad as a reference,I didn't even know his number until he called me out of the blue about this yesterday. Called the number and case# he gave me. Automated machine said it was IPG. Press 0 to speak to someone,I did. The man who answered was very rude after I told him not to contact my dad as I did not use him as a reference. I also told him it was illegal to give my personal info to anyone other than me and that I would report him to his state attorney general and he spat at me, "GO AHEAD! They won't do anything!" He kept interrupting me and would not let me get a word in edgewise. He was very unprofessional and I finally lost my cool and said a few choice words and then he hung up on me. I can't find this IPG company anywhere on the web. I'm hoping someone else will come forward with this number becaause I don't know what to do. I don't want to call back in fear of getting the same guy. I have no idea how they got my dads number,it's weird as I didn't even have it. If they can get his number why haven't they gotten mine?They have never called me once. These bottom feeders make me sick. I owe nothing since my bankruptcy 13 years ago so they need to leave me and my family alone.
