The caller ( Unavailable E ) called us @11:24,A.M., 03/15/2014, Saturday.. I decided not to take the call since we have nothing with this number. It left no message. When I returned the call, I heard this message:" You can not complete the call as dialed, please check the number... ". This message is not from my phone company.

Left no message.

"Good-bye."

I immediately dialed the number that showed on my phone, from which the original call came...(877)261-4776.
A computer voice stated that "I could not complete my call to the above (877) number as dialed.  This happens regularly, not necessarily with the same number...but exact same result.

A few days ago, when I called back the caller I.D. number, a lady answered who said someone had some how tied into her business phone number, & was making such calls. She said she was fighting with AT&T about the situation, without resolving the problem.  PLEASE HELP!!

called,telemarketer...told him on do not call..very rude and arrogant

A man called saying he represents a building Co.. with 65 yeras experience and he will come to my  home TOMORROW  to  show me   photos of his work.  I said  NO !
but he  was  off the phone.

It sounded like fraud !

Said he is a contractor in our area.  I think it is the usual telemarketer spiel, however, he was very polite.  My new thing is to say that my brother in law is a contractor and we always use him.  They usually say that they will take us off the list. Of course, we are on the Do Not Call List which is useless, but I block the numbers on my iPhone which seems to work well.

Lure them to a lonely place, then _______ .
