You can block them if you are a VZ customer. Call and talk to someone else, I've blocked numbers before.

Dell Financial Is part of Dell computers! If you open a credit card with Dell to buy their merchandise these are the people who call you.

I was late on a payment when the calls started.  They would call over and over every day, first on my cell phone then immediately on my home phone.  Calls continued for over a week after I made my payment online.  They have finally stopped.

Thats not true at all!! I paid for my computer outright and NEVER had the chance to be late.. so why are they still calling me 15 times a day??

That would be a great solution if I had a bill to pay them, I do not owe them anything.. they keep calling anyway.

I called them back like everyone here suggested, they were looking for someone else. They said they removed my number but we will see.

These jerks call even when you've *never* had an account with them and have made several direct requests to stop calling. They've call about 30 times in the last week starting at 8:30am. I tried calling them back once before 9am and got a recording stating their office was closed. WELL, THANKS FOR WAKING ME UP FOR NOTHING YOU %^&$#ING @$$HOLES. Seriously, I don't know who you're looking for but if I did I would shove the phone so far up their ass that they would have no choice but to pay their bill from them!

I got tired of them calling for someone else who used to have my cell phone number (Mr. Slacker).  I've asked them over and over to take my number off their list.  The last time I said I was going to report them so I found this link to do it:  www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov     I am also going to block their number and start enjoying the peace and quiet.

Next time the person calls and asks for the wrong person make sure to get their full name of whom they are looking for and ask them to verify your social security number that is on file.   If they are stupid enough to give it to you then go to your courts and file a suit against this person that owns the social security number.  The court will find them.

True. Dell Financial Services IS Dell. They are the department within Dell that bills are sent to when an account holder is late.

I told them (Dell Financial) on Thursday thatI had a death in the family and my cat had to have surgery (no lie) and that I would pay them when I get paid again on 9/16/10.  The guy said he wouold note my account and they would not call again until after the 16th....Well, they called again today!

I just recently got my phone activated and within less than an hour I started getting calls from 877-269-9058.  This pattern has repeated daily.  How did they get my new phone number.  Perhaps they need to get some of their own medicine.  Every time they call me I think I will call them back several times.
Seriously though, I have just listed my home phone numbers with "the National Do Not Call Registry".
