I hate hangups.

I called this one back from my Google Voice number. Who, exactly, from an 800-number answers the phone with "hello?" and then "How can I help you?" I'll tell you who: someone who shouldn't be calling me, that's who!

Called the company back, after 4 calls a day for several days where they hang up as soon as the phone rings. The company is called RAB or Regional Adjustment Bureau. They call any time/day and they seem to be able to do anything but make you angry.

I almost answered this call since we're having major goof ups in our health insurance & most #'s we've had to call were the 800-, 877-, or 866- types. Since no voice message was left and no email, I figure it's another version of many likely illegal calls we get from collectors. However, my phone was recently hacked where I had no control over it, I fought with commands while someone was using it remotely...the remote use stopped, but collector-type calls increased to 1/hour from 8 AM until last one at 6 PM. While the collection calls tend to be when a health provider sent me to collections instead if informing me/us of an amount due (like a $15 copay!), it maddens me that these providers don't call, send a bill first whatever, so we never answer freebie area code numbers. Some leave threatening messages that we write up on sites like this one. Seeing the person who said the caller was RAB or similar, that agency has called before. Appears that the collectors buy new freebie area code phone numbers when they lose out. Don't answer or turn the table and bombard the caller with identity questions and report the Fair Credit Act language before you hang up on them--if you have the time or energy.   Ugh!

This # keeps calling, using my cell phone minutes!!!!
Kept my cell # private for over 10 years, now I'm thinking of changing my # since they use my cell more than I do. They never leave a message and ring only around 4-5 times, which attached to my purse I've only answered once and no one wad there THEY HUNG UP AFTER I SAID HELLO.

Got this # on my cell.  Msg said just testing & could hear noise in the background.  Got home, same #.  STOP CALLING!

Had two calls from this company in a week, no message as usual.

what do they want and who are they? Same thing daily, no one there when I pick up the phone. What can be done to stop this?

9th call from this company, (the latest was at 9:07 this morning) in a month, just rings once, says unavailable on phone. Who are these idiots.!!!!

Ok this is getting old, 23 calls from this number, no message, I don't owe anyone any money so what do they want. Would like to take their phone and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.
