Stark Agency in Madison, Wisconsin is a collection agency.  Extension 220 gets you a live woman agent.

extension 233 gets you a live woman as well

Called here and caller ID read "Private Number".  Called our business phone first(he didn't answer) and two to three seconds later, called our home phone (I didn't answer either).  They have the wrong number.  She asked for a person not here and gave her first name with phone number and extension (Pearl at ext. 224)  We are not bothering to answer the phone since they have the wrong number and won't give information as to the company they are representing.  Have no idea what these people want.

In addition to the previous note:  Stark Agency is a division of Check Recovery Solutions (CRS).

They are harrassing me. It needs to stop before I take further action.

I've been getting calls from them for awhile now.  When I answer I hear 2-3 beeps followed by a click.  If this really is a debt collector, they're not going to get very much money by doing business this way.  :)

They can remove your number if you tell them it is wrong, because of privacy laws they cannot state where they are calling from.

It is an automatic dialer, if it is the wrong number stay on the phone until someone comes on and tell them they have the wrong number.  They will remove it.

They keep calling and stating that they are a collection agency trying to collect my debts.  I do not have any outstanding debts.

I got a call frm them today they left a message identifying Stark Collection Agency...fine...however they never asked for me by name when leaving a message & if I owed money wouldn't I receive notice in the mail also? Which I havnt gotten anything frm any business or company saying I owe them.

Yeah. Another call from a collection agency, on a RECORDED LINE, no less!! (I'm so scared!) Unfortunately, they must be after a relative of those who previously had my phone number. Same last name, at least. I told the caller, "If you want General Tso chicken, you call restaurant!! This is office!! You do not call office for General Tso chicken!!" The caller rang off.

I was out, when they called, yesterday. A female left a threatening message, demanding a call back. She won't get one from me.

Another call, today, on a "recorded line." I told him I don't know the person he asked for, and no such person is at this number. He said he would delete my number. (Sure, he will.)
