recvd. text msg to call this number.. it's another one of those stupid scams.. I don't know who's giving my number out..   this is what it says

"USAA.
SMS.SERVICE@customermail.usaa.com/ We noticed that you haven't confirmed your USAA Mastercard.  Simply call 1-877-278-0380, 24/7"

I knew it was a scam because I don't even have a credit with USAA.. I hope these [***] get caught some day..and for those of you who do have a USAA credit card... DO NOT CALL this number... I have already reported this to USAA.

I just got a text saying to call that (1-877-278-0380)number as I haven't activated my card yet. I called out of curiosity ( I ignored it once before a couple weeks ago) and a very ol dstyle robotic answering machine asks for my Mastercard number. I couldn't understand it if it said any specific brand of MC though. Clearly a fishing scam, only give information to real people and be sure you know who you are talking to.

Just got this same crap msg on my cell phone.

I Keep getting texts from "SMS.Services@coorscu.org". A fishing/scam attempt. They track your area code and use businesses and companies in the area that you might be affiliated with to get you to respond. DO NOT. Delete the message. SOB's

Got mine 3 hours ago but the phone number was 1-877-267-3334

Got a text at 5:21 am 7/11/09 "Prince Georges Community FCH. SMS Alert. Call us at 1-877-278-0380 to hear your message." Looks like scammers to me, can we report this to the police or something?

I got a txt message from SMS.Service@coorscu/ this was a scam and they tried to use coors beer company credit union as the bisness asking for my mc number to an automated system and I too hope no one falls for this

I recieved the text yesterday but i did not apply for a credit card so i did not call there is just to much of this scam going on you just can not trust anyone

Asked for credit card number followed by # sign.

Rec'd text on 7-11-09 at 3:52am...from sms.princegeorgescfcu@iol.cz... (PrinceGeorges Community FCU. SMS Alert. Call us at 1-877-278-0380 to hear your message.)
Needless to say, I will not be calling the number to hear their message.  Can't something be done once and for all with these scammers!

I wonder if T-Mobile has a "leak"???
I also received a text message (07/10/2009) saying "we noticed you haven't activaded your USAA Master Card, simply call 1-877-278-0380 24/7.
As I do not have a card from USAA I knew this was a scam. After trying a reverse phone lookup I found out this is not any Master Card Bank. I just filled a complaint with the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm.
I hope the more people complain to the FCC the greater chances they will catch someone.
