STUDENT LOAN SCAM!! called from an Arizona number (928-298-7654) but left this number to call back.
"Hi this is Sofia with the student loan advisory board. Good news, you've been pre-approved for the student loan forgiveness program but it is imperative that you call me back before the program changes. Have a blessed day!"

I called back this number. I was tranferred to an "agent" and the agent "just wanted to verify a few information."  They were able to get my date of birth and email associated to my FedLoan acct.  She said that they are going to send me a 6 digit number for verification.  They send the email and when I received the email, it was a request to change my account password.  When I said I don't want to reset my password, the "agent" hung up on me.

Got a phone call exactly like TX and AZ subscribed. The caller sounds real but my college kids never applied student loans. They are scam, watch out!!!

They asked for my dob and email address

Called from a Delaware number (302-487-0552). Realistic-sounding voice message (not "mechanical voice" ) from "Sophia" of the "student loan advisory board," calling with "great news": that I'm prequalified for "the student loan forgiveness program"! But it's "imperative" that she speak to me right away before this program disappears. Callback number was 877-278-6868; sign-off was "Have a blessed day."

I have no student loans, nor does anyone in my family.

Same Sophia who called from 470-329-1471 talking about my federal student loans and that I qualified for forgiveness. Gave the 877 number to call back. Did not call back.

A woman named "Sophia" keeps calling my mother and leaving messages for me about forgiving my student loans. I know it's a scam and would like them to stop calling my Mother!

They won’t stop calling me about “federal student loans” even though I’ve never taken a loan in my life. They keep using different numbers to call me and I keep blocking, I finally called the number they provided and they hung up on me when I started yelling at them to leave me alone and every subsequent call thereafter. Do not give them any information, hopefully yelling at them will get them to stop.

I received the same call from Sophia.  And I've never had a federal student loan.  The caller ID was from Berthaud, CO!

Same Sophia message about student loan forgiveness program, this time from a Florida number 904 533 4116.  Clearly a scam.

I got the same call from "Sophia". We have NO loans. We live within our means. We are on the DO NOT CALL LIST. We went to this website to very easily do that  https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx  We waited the 31 days, and then started to file a complaint with the FTC about any calls we get that are scam calls. So, for this call, we also filed a full complaint with the FTC --- which is quite easy to file online. Have a blessed day!"  The more people who complain to the FTC, the quicker these con artists are put out of business.

Received a phone call from this number 3 times today!  Tried calling the number and as soon as it connected, it hung up.  Called back again and the line has been busy ever since.  Probably trying to call other people to let them know the "great news"!
