They are using a different number now: 877-393-9483 My husband received two voicemails from this number stating they are trying to determine the whereabouts of a person. Correct last name, incorrect first name. It seems as though someone is going through credit references to track someone down who owes money, but we don't know anyone in our family by that name, let alone who would use us as a credit reference. I searched the number elsewhere and it said it was an invalid/spoofed number, which means we will not call back if it is fraud. They state that they will use the full extent of the law to contact this person, a scare tactic of course. Does not sound reputable.

This number just called me. I'm guessing it's a scam but I just keep getting hung up on. So sick and tired of this crap!

My relatives received the first calls from these thieves, then I contacted them and pretty much everything everyone else here said happened to me.  Alternative phone numbers for them are 877-495-0124 and their other scam "Physician Chart Auditors" 877-337-2268

Be smart, cost them money.  Give them an address they can send a letter to, an address you feel safe giving, probably best if not your home address.  Not recommending your states' Attorney General's office, your local police department or other law enforcement agency who would get upset with these crooks : )   Then when you speak with them, ask them to send you the necessary paperwork.  When / if they call back, tell them nothing arrived, ask them to resend it, then next time tell them they got the address wrong and have it sent somewhere else.  Keep doing this forever.  Let them pay for postage.  Trivial amount that adds up.

Why would you go to all that trouble, void out your rights, and pass up on causing some real damage to these crooks, especially since all the information you need ton them is in this thread?
