Telemarketing company TRG Customer Solutions I did not answer the call, called them back to get company name.

apparently, they claim they are from Presidents Choice Financial Mastercard

Apparently, they claim they are from Zellers, asking for personal information.  Anybody knows what kind of spam is this?

I Called back and got a recorded description of who the company was that called along with instruction on how to remove my # from their calling list. The recording finished with another # to call if I didn't want to receive calls from HBC. Ahaaa! There's where they found my # (Cell # that is) What was I thinking that day?!

I took Zellers up on a 10% off credit card offer a few months back.

I wouldn't have minded so much if I hadn't just recently switched my cell to a pay as you go plan. Good thing I didn't asnwer! I got the darn cell years ago so my tenants or family could reach me in an emergency and only recently realize I was spending $30 more a month than I needed to be. Got a brother who spends $300 a month on a cell but that doesn't matter wasted is wasted no matter how much it is!

got a call at 9:00 on Oct. 16, 2007 from someone claiming to be offering Presidents Choice Financial Mastercard credit alert. He made one reference to equafax and 2 weeks to recieve free literture and credit check.  offering credit alert free for 30 days and then 14.95 a month to continue recieving notices. Between his difficult to understand Indian(Asian) accent and overly load volume it was difficult to understand his speel which made me uncomfortable and I advised him I had no interest in continuing the conversation by phone. He tried to get me to confirm information and pushed to ask why I was not interested, but quickly got off the phone when I asserted I was not engaging in this transaction over the phone.

They call and call and call. I don't answer, just look at the number and wait for them to quit ringing. It is frustrating,anoying and feel it is an invasion now that they started calling my cell. If it is not an 877 # it is an 866 #

those [***] are calling my number again and again.  please show me how to retaliate.

I've gotten about 4 or 5 calls from this number over the past 2 days.  I finally answered but they hung up or the call was dropped.

If they call me again from president choice, I will cancel my card. I don't do business with companies that make calls.

I get six calls a day from this number. I have tried picking it up to tell them to remove me from the call list,  but every time I pick up the call is "dropped". They know my name, since now they leave messages that start with "hello we are looking for____" always someone with a different sort of accent, then they hang up.

I too get these annoying calls. They call all day long 3-4x per day. Some I answer, other times I don't. Everytime I answer it's a dropped call or no one is on the other end. Pretty annoying. I too call that number back from caller ID screen. Get a msg that says if you want to be removed from the list,punch in your phone #. So I did, then another voice comes on to say HBC privacy line call... so I do. I tell them to remove my number & they ask for your name & postal code. Then they say they have removed it but there are many other ways other people will get my number blah blah blah. The very next day, that frigging phone number calls me again 4x per day. HOW DO YOU STOP THOSE CALLS!! YOU BASICALLY CAN'T. IT JUST KEEPS CALLING..CALLING...CALLING..UNTIL YOU DECIDE YOU HAVE TO PAY MONEY & CHANGE THAT PHONE #.

i called back the number and was directed to 866.225.8251 and the lady took my infos and removed me from their list

I reported these guys to the PC Financial Privacy office who verified that this telemarketer is not a legitimate business partner. They are investigating.

They have called me even on Saturday morning! Needless to say, they don't leave a message.

Someone calls once a day from the number 877-288-1387 and hangs up on me every time I answer the call. I haven't got a clue who the caller is but I’m getting extremely annoyed.
Now I’m confused because according to everything I read above the number belongs to roughly three different companies.

Is it possible that this # 877-288-1387 is from a "calling card company" where someone has prepaid minutes?

I was called by this number almost everyday, many times more than once. I also called 1.866.225.8251, and told them to remove me from thier list, which they said they did. I hope the same number will not call me again.

Correction: the caller ID was 1-877-288-1387.
