Said from Legal Affairs and that I'm under investigation and to call back this number...Received a similar call from someone else with an Indian accent with the same sort of come on.  I assume both are some kind of scheme and should be ignored.

Call was from a female with an accent . Said from US dept of Treasury IRS dept. That there is a legal affidavit on tax fraud under my name.

I am a detective with a local police department. We just received a report in reference to this phone number. The female on the phone, "Michelle Keith", stated that she was with the IRS and told the victim that the victim had crimes of theft by deception and needed to pay the fine. "Michelle Keith" stated to the victim that there was a "no tolerance" policy, but she could help the victim if the victim paid off the fine that day. The victim was ordered to go to to their bank and withdraw $3,000. "Michelle Keith" then requested for the victim to go get six reload cards and put $500 on five of them and $70 on the sixth one. Once the victim complied, "Michelle Keith" obtained the card numbers from the victim.
