- Debra| 1 replySo glad I didn't answer this scam call, but this was left on my voicemail: “Important documentation of an urgent nature has been received at our firm on behalf of Debra xxxx previous attempts to deliver documents at the address on file has expired in order to resolve this matter before further action is required you must contact our office immediately at 1-877-332-9068"
No legit company leaves vague messages that don't at least include the company name or name of the caller.- Caller: Unknown
- Michelle replies to DebraSame thing happened to me a little bit ago except it was my brother's name they used.
- VegasI just got the same call and let it go to voicemail. Here was the transcription:
"Has been received at our firm on behalf of Patricia Coleman. Previous attempts to deliver documents at the address is on file has expired. In order to resolve this matter before further action is required. You must contact our office immediately at 1-877-332-9068. Again that number is 1-877-332-9068 or you may press one now to be connected with our team." - BeauI've gotten a few calls from this number, with the same voicemails left. They've called both my Partner and me, as we share a phone plan. The first time they called, they tried to say they were wanting to make effort to collect before sending a balance to court on a payday loan from 4 years ago. They stated that it had been sent to 4 collections agents.
1) It's never been on my credit report, which I keep a close eye on.
2) My number has not changed in 10 years, no one has called or emailed me about this before.
3) I had taken out a payday loan around the time they stated, so I was worried for a bit, but I had all payday loans set to auto deduct on the day of my paycheck. If it did bounce back due to insufficient funds, as they claimed, they never reached out to me to resolve it.
This is a total scam. I've run in to it before. They use scare tactics. They tell you they have to collect right then, and won't give you time to investigate. The way they word things, made me think they were legit at first, but as I thought it through, it made no sense. When I told them I wouldn't pay, they asked for my address.
Me: "Why do you need that?"
Them: "To send to the court."
Me: "Well, good luck with that."
Them: "We will find you" and then hung up.- Call type: Debt collector
- ArmandoSame message as Debra from above, but the name was a combination of my daughter's and my wife's name.

- C ReedThese freaks are calling my work phone number. First of all, here is a little bit of legal advice for you guys. No collector is allowed to threaten you with law enforcement. Nor do people call you ahead of time to issue you a court summons. That's not how it works. Also, if you want to. Ask them when the loan was. Most states do not allow collection after 3 years. so you can always tell them you know they are BS and that if this were a true situation the statute of limitations has expired and that you could initiate legal action against them if they call you again.
I'm super upset. They shouldn't be calling my place of employment. How would they have this number? who sold my information to these freaks of nature- Caller: They didn't say

- NancyThese people called me and left voice mail saying something about call back and speak with our team. I called back and trying to tell me someone or me tried writing a bad check like a cash advance at my bank. They needed payment right away so I would not need to go to court. Then the guy said I need legal help good luck to me and hung up.

- RobinThey've called my son's cell phone and my mom's in the last 24 hrs or so looking for me with basically the same message what others have listed here. Then today they called my cell phone. I don't answer any numbers I don't know and I blocked the number immediately after checking this site. Yesterday I told my mom and son that it was most likely a scam and to block the number. I don't even know how these ppl got their numbers because I've never listed them anywhere.
