  I received a notice on bright pink paper in the mail about having "your vehicle service contract updated" with a headline of "IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED," and asking to call this number. The letter went on to sell an extended auto warranty with a cost of "TBD." The identification at the top of the letter was:
       Automotive Services Department
       400 Skokie Boulevard, Suite 105
       Northbrook, IL 60062
 Although this was not an actual phone call, I anticipate that I will probably receive a call from this number sometime in the near future.

I havent got a call yet, but I get these letters about repair son my auto, the letter comes from autimotive services department vehicle document /alert notice personal & confidential   example repair invoice enclosed. no return address on envolope. They give a code of vehicle code 987518789 saying my program tearm deadline is 10/06/17 I dont have insurance with them , They term this as a factory warranty will expire, my truck which I have is an 03 ,  I believe this is a scam, am I right?

My 89-year-old Mom received this same letter and she's freaking out about it.  (1) She does not own a car and has NEVER owned a car and (2) She has NEVER had a driver's license.  I know this is a scam but it's very hard to convince her that they didn't get her name from something to do with my car.  Mind you, we have entirely different addresses and she has no association with my vehicle!

I don't drive or ecwn have a license and I received the letter as well. It's a scam!!

Well please let her know that this IS definitely a scam. I do not drive and I do not have a license.  Also, I have one and my information is not associated with anyone who has a car. I barely associate with people, let alone give my name, address AND apartment number to anyone who could potentially stop me from getting a car in the future, by jamming me up. Please assure her this is just a scam that really has nothing to do with you...I believe we were randomly selected, or we have signed up for something that doesn't state they will keep your info safe.

Yes I just  got scammed by these people too. They asked me for my  credit and debit card number. They  sent me a letter with my full name and home address   and a fake vehicle   code with coverge:Pending. IF THIS NUMBER CALLS you 877-333-6604 DON’T ANSWER IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

My BLIND, I repeat, blind mother received one of these. My mother has been blind from birth, so she absolutely doesn't have a driver's license let alone a car registered in her name. These people prey on disabled and elderly. I'm reporting them to the VA Attorney General's office!
