I am getting SMS text messages to my cell phone directing me to call this number.

Me too . Got a text message saying they are giving away $100 ..

I got that message as well. Has to be a scam. I am not replying. It could get worse even doing the opt out because they then know for sure they have a live person.

I've received several of these. I never call and never reply (text) with Stop. A friend had a similar experience with a text she received not unlike this one, she responded and started getting texts for which she was charged $9.99. I can't say if this is the same, but I'm not willing to find out. I would notify your service provider and have this number blocked.

They offer you $100, but you have to pay a $2.95 service charge for them to send you the money. This means you  have to give them your credit or debit card information, something we should never do if we don't know who the person is, what company they work for, why they are calling, or how they got your number. Hope this helps

Has anyone been able to get them to stop sending texts to you and if so what did you do? I'm to call them from my work phone to see if i can get a hold of someone or something.
