Got a call from restricted number. The guy said his name was Alonso Price and that he was an Independent Legal Carrier. He said I had to call 877-337-9226 or he would come serve me at my home or business on Thursday. I've received these calls before, they are a collection agency who are trying to scare you. They use the terms Lawsuit and Legal to try to scare you.
There are laws against these people harassing you and threatening you. I had one company calling anyone they could find that was related to me. That is illegal. If it is your personal matter then they are breaking the law by calling other people to try to scare you. Tell them that and it will stop.

I been getting the same calls from that person saying the same thing

Have received several calls from someone named Alonzo Price, stating he is calling about a legal matter that he's received in his office. Says he will be serving me with summons at my home or work on Wednesday and he gives a phone number, saying it's the claimant's number, 877 337 9226 and that I need to contact them for more information. he also gave a case number to reference when I call. Since when do they call you in advance to tell you you're being served? Isn't the whole idea to surprise you so they CAN serve you? This is totally bogus. I do not have any unpaid checks etc out there. I will be filing a cease and desist and if they continue to call, I will be reporting them.

I too got a call today from Mr. Price on 3/5 saying there was a civil suit pending against me and that I was on his schedule to visit my home or office to have me sign a notice of suit. I was amazed and angry at the amount of information that he gave regarding this "private" matter. He could say he couldn't go into personal details but told my sister that there was a civil suit against me?

I received a phone call from a private number also from a Alonso Price saying that he will come up to my place of residence and also my workplace to serve me and what was hilarious is that he told me to make sure that i have a form of ID for identification purposes. I was scared at first but, I called an attorney and he told me that they are just debt collectors calling. This will be the last time that I will apply for anything online or loan or whatever. It is ridiculous. They are just trying to scare you.

They gave me a number and case number, but when i called they claim that they are attorneys and when they know that you are scared they tell you, we can help you out, if you promise to make any type of payments monthly. They are just hilarious. At first I gotta admit I was terrified.

Calling and telling me that they will come to my job and serve papers.

I recv. the phone call to but he is only a debt collector no power no law suit ever exist. But i wouldn't contact him may ask for credit card info. but if you recv. this call please dont worry about it there is no civil suit against you if someone was going to serve u papers then they wont call you its like a cop calling on an alian family and telling them theyw ill come out weds to arrest them!!! there is no form of power here just ignore the call and go about your daily life and pay what debt u do have

Recieved several phone calls regarding a civil suit, when I asked who the claimant was they won't tell me only that I must call the 877 337 9226 to get any further information. They keep saying the are going to my office and/or home today Friday to have me sign for a court summons. I think I need to contact my attorney.

Alonzo Price called me today from a blocked number and to me he would be by Monday for me to sign papers at home or work. Actually told me to be sure I am available. Lol, said to call 1-877-337-9226 if I have any questions.

I too received a call just today 05/07/2012.  These guys are nuts.  It may be from a payday loan, I made the mistake of taking one out once, and then just could not finish paying it off, and they must be trying to collect for that.  I guess I just need to pay, but they cannot just come to my place of work.

I too got a call from this number from Alonso Price telling me he had my dob & ssn with a claim that just came upon his desk. He didn't identify himself working for any company but said if I didn't call he would come and serve me at work or at home and to make myself available. When he called me back I told him I filed a complaint against him with the Federal Trade Commission. I also kept his recorded message for the future. I haven't heard from Alonso since.
