I am at work and upon returning from lunch I had a message on my voice mail....my WORK voice mail.  When I listened, it said caller ID blocked.  The message was from a woman Brenda something that said there is a court case pending and gave me the reference ID.  She said consider this my notice that I am going to be served at work or home.  Now I have excellent credit and DO NOT owe anyone any back money so IDK how they got my info.  Someone on another site said maybe they are somehow obtaining credit reports to see what people are past due on but I am not past due.  So they use that info to get you scared so you will pay.  They left the number 877-343-0474 to call back so I did.  I proceeded to ask them who the creditor was and they didnt say.  They said I have to contact the creditor at such and such number.  Also I asked for them to submit a letter of validation to me.  She acted like she didnt know what it was and just said "I have to check with my supervisor to see if I can send that.  Then I asked her what city/state she was in.  She did tell me that so as I was talking to her I googled the police dept info for that location and called the police dept from my cell phone as I am on the phone with her and put it on speaker.  I told them there is a phone scammer on the line at 877-343-0474 trying to extort money from me for a debt I dont owe.....BOY OH BOY did she hang up FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
