cant get them to stop any ideas?

getting several calls a day from this and  other phone numbers.I answer to a dead phone.

i called it back and i got a EMS answering servive through scotia bank

1-877-350-0434 rang late last night, we did not answer, and they did not leave message. Annoying or what ! Could be Scotia Bank, we have a credit card with them. Will tell them where to put their card and annoying calls.

We told Scotia Bank to stop calling us and remove us from their mailing list/calling list etc.  They just rang us again, on Family Day at 6:20pm. What do we have to do, to stop them ? Another call to them I guess. What a waste of time and money eh ?

Answer call no one is there keep phoning every night

We finally wrote to Scotia Bank to ask them to stop calling us and remove us from their calling list.  They just tried to ring us again, at 6:42pm. My husband threatened to close this account, and has cut-up his credit card. They have promised to remove us from their lists, and offered a rebate on account charges. But said we might still get calls for a few days. We hope they keep their word and it all stops soon.

I got another call earlier when I was out, so I called them back and got a EMS answering service and it was Scotia Bank.

I have received calls from this number almost daily for the past two weeks. My roommate answered the first few times and said I was out. I looked up the number and saw it's Scotiabank.

Aha! I'm not a Scotiabank customer but signed up for a Scene card (affiliated with Scotiabank) which I now regret due to the harassing Scotiabank calls.

Last week I answered and politely told the person to stop calling, that if I were interested in the Scotiabank Visa - Scotiabank has repeatedly flooded my mailbox with offers - I would have applied by now, I'm not interested, the harassment makes me hate Scotiabank and to please STOP CALLING!

Well, two times since then they've called. We don't pick up the phone.

Yesterday I did and let the guy have it. I'm not proud of losing my cool and having been a customer service rep know how it feels to bear the brunt of a customer's ire, but I flipped out at the guy (who barely spoke English) and told him to never call back again.
