Getting multiple calls regarding a claim. Recording asks for call back with claim number. No caller I’d.

Called three times in one week with a strange message from my ex-husband who I have not lived with since 2007! Weird!

They said I owe them money for a loan don’t no who the loan company isthmus company is for prospect recovery group

Called with my mom's name saying the message was solely for her. Asked to call back with a claim number (that was also "automated" or made to look so. Seems like a social engineering attempt. BEWARE!

Yes, it is a scam.

This number has been harassing my husband this whole week, threatening him that he will be sued and can do some jail time. He did get some letters from them that had what a debt collector should have (which made it seem real too). Most Debt collects want to work with you not give you a day to pay and threaten you! They were also threatening to show up as his house with papers being served and gave a time (which didn't happen) . They have all his information which was scary and it sounded as if it was legit. They got an attitude when we asked for their address and so they gave us a PO box#. As though it sounded real and I can see why they can get so many people, please do your research first by calling the place you owe money too and see who they sent your account too. This is a complete scam! Do not give your social # or anything.. They probably have the last four digits but don't give them anything more then that. Yes you can be sued (depends what company it is) but a cop can't take you to jail. Ace cash is not a legal company as they don't sue you or do they threaten jail time.   Some names are Elizabeth, AARON WEISS.. threaten them if they don't leave you alone!

They also kept putting us on hold whenever we would as a question.. They call everyone of whoever they have a number linked to you. They do this so people will pay up because it is annoying and embarrassing that they call people in your family
