These people are a bunch of scam artist. I don't know who the heck they think. They claim they are A1 Receviables processing. They are rude and wont stop calling my phone. Don't pay them any money--they also go by Kobalt Financial group. These people must be stopped. Sounding like they are working in someones garage.

First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are:  http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

There was a automated on the end of the phone when you pick up stating that they are delivering you paperwork to your employer and you will need two forms of i.d. and have your supervisor to sign for the documents.

I got the same call. They say to stop the delivery of paperwork to press 1 or call back.

Agreed!! they are stupid. I got a voicemail saying the same thing. I'm not even gonna call them back. Dont even believe it.

Same problem here with weeks of repeat calls from this number. I finally answered, and when I didn't follow their script, they were rude, threatening, hung up. I called back to see if there was any real conversation to be had, and it appeared not. They hung up. I called back, no answer. Scammers. Report them.

I got the same call. Did not pick up. The message left was same, a recording about paperwork and to have 2 forms of id and a supervisor present.

Said I was going to be served a paper to appear in court. I would be served at my employer or home. I would need two forms of ID if I was served at home and a supervisor if I was served at work. I wouldn't verify the last four of my social so he got mad he asked me about an address and I told him I didn't live at the address he told me I could tell the judge why I wouldn't verify who I was. Then he hung up.

Just got a call from these people with the recording saying they would be at my place of residence between 12-5 tomorrow. Hah! Saturday tomorrow not likely. Scams really piss me off.

These people are contacting my friends! Can’t get them to stop.

Someone from this number called me for a relative and when I called them back, they told me to have my relative or his attorney call them immediately.  I asked why they were calling me as that relative could not be reached at my number and I was told they received all kinds of numbers from the county and my number must have been mixed in.  They assured me my number would be removed; however, it sounded like the people were in some garage somewhere.  I find this very suspicious...

I received a called stating that they are delivering a package and they need to forms for ID.... After reading the comments, I will not return their call

I just got a call sent to today with the same message. This is a scam correct?

just got the same phone call but they called private so my phone did not allow me to answer when I listen to the message they said call the 877 number to stop the papers from being delivered but when I called no one answered.

my daughter sent me the voicemail she revived. For me. I called they said the same thing I was going to receive paper work at my home or work.  I told them I would talk to a lawyer. She hung up. Then I called back no answer. Then they hung up again

Debt collection extortion scam. They're hoping to scare you into paying non-existent debt with bogus threats. Calling a number (which is often not even in service) and paying phantom debt will magically make it stop. You're not going to be warned ahead of time about anything these crooks threaten you with.

I had the same message as all others had stated and just received a call from a relative saying they were looking for me and repeated this same message.  I want this mess stopped. It's ridiculous
