This is a company called National Check Recovery services. They are a collection recoveryagency. They called my house asking for my husband,but spoke to me. They claim to be collecting a debt forCAshBank.com a supposed payday loan company.  Neverheard ofthe payday loancompany and never took out a loan in the year they claim he did. They claim they are servingus with court papers onThursday.
If they do thatwill only add fuel tothe fire as it isnot a legitimate debt, so ifthey doIwill be calling a lawyer andsuing them..

Received a call from this number regarding my daughter-in-law and a "legal affidavit".  Scared me to death.  Spoke with my daughter-in-law to see if everything was alright and she enlightened me that this is another scam.   Can't they be stopped!!!??????

I received a call  at work from an individual name Larry Greco stating he was going to serve papers on me Friday between 9 and 1.  When I asked him what it was regarding, he told me to contact NCR at 1-877-350-5096 gave me a file number.  I called this number and was told I had a PayDay 1 loan outstanding from 2008.   I told him that I paid this in full to someone representing PayDay 1 after being threatened.  He told me that those other individuals were scammers (after I told him about the heavy accents)   He claims that they are bona-fide.  I don't want to have to pay something twice!!!!!!!   What do I do..... he e-mailed me a letter, but sent no documents, said they would be presented at court, or at a later date.......

What happen did you end up going to court??
