Is a scammer that is asking for social secuirty number

Said they were from some law office, looking for a Tina C-----. Never heard of her.

Said they were a law office calling about an urgent matter.   Left a case number but no details

Said I was being served for something, never gave a company name or anything

No company name, said they were stopping by my house

Said they had sealed documents. With intent to serve me or something.whatever. .........scary though.

When I asked to talk to X1007 the man at this "law office" asked for my name and social, my response as to give them the "case number".  This was unsatisfactory and suddenly they were looking for a Mr. Martin and not me.  This was an urgent matter.  I  called back a second time since they hung up the first time.

These people have called many times over the last 6 weeks or so.  This woman (Ms Smith, as she refers to herself) keeps saying she is going to serve me with a notice of intent to appear in court.  Today is the third time she's claimed she already tried to serve me.  Um, no.  1 - I work from home 80% of my week and NOBODY stops by my house except for the postal worker and UPS/FedEx.  2 - Considering I am not all but one day a week, I cannot imagine she's consistently tried to serve me the same day.  3 - She also claims she has attempted to serve me at my place of employment, which I know is a flat out lie because I am remoted into the system and am to be notified by our receptionist if we have any calls/deliveries.  4 - I've contacted a lawyer who stated that anybody trying to serve papers would NOT be calling to notify you of the intent to serve so they could catch you off guard and not give you a heads up - that would give people the opportunity to leave and not be around.  Either way, this is certainly not the first time someone has tried to scare me into something of this sort.  Just a shame that we have to deal with harassing calls and such.

A lady called (from ( JPL) insisting to speak to someone I didn't have in our Department directory. She said they already confirmed with HR that she works here, she was rude and I gave her our HR dept's phone #, she ended up hanging up on me.
