I did receive a call from this number relling me that I was being sued by someone?

Mona did anything come of it?

I received a call from this number saying that they were going to come to my job or home and serve me.  Nobody does that.  If they want to serve you then they certainly don't call you first to tell you.  They just serve you. Duh! Obviously Debt collectors. Do not make any contact with them.  They also called another relative of mine and I gave them specific instructions not to make contact with them.

Called my sis-in-law, a naturalized citizen who hasn't mastered the 'system'. She had her wallet stolen in Feb 2011 and has had ongoing problems with identity theft. The caller claimed they were 'with the courthouse' and was going 'to serve her' papers as she is being sued for a debt at a local bank. The bank they claimed does not exist - unless she wrote it down wrong.
Sounds like the stereotypical lying debt collector

Got a call telling me they were going to serve me papers at my house and work place today. I dont even know who this is. Guess I will find out if they show up today

This number has called me repeatedly but from an unknown or blocked number.  The only reason I knew the number is because they leave it on the voicemail.  They told me they were going to my home to serve me with papers and if I wasn't home, they'd come to my work, and if I wasn't at work, they'd use other ways to get in touch with me.  

The guy got my last name wrong twice on both messages and you can tell he was reading a script because he kept making the same mistakes.  Such a debt collector.
