Allied Interstate - scam 'collection' agency.

They keep calling my number at least 10 times per day.

I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER. THEY STATED THAT THEY WERE A COLLECTION AGENGY FOR DIRCTV. I HAD RECENTLY CANCELLED MY SERVICE WITH DIRECTV. I ALWAYS PAID MY SEVICE ON TIME AND EVEN AHEAD OF TIME. I CALLED DIRCTV AND AND GAVE THEM A PIECE OF MY MIND FOR THE HARRASSMENT OF THESE PHONE CALLS DURING MY WORKING HOURS.

I also get these calls and have paid all my bills. We living in times of blood sucking companies that getting a dollar anyway they can is excepted practice.

Morals be dammed and phone blocked list are a joke.

Received a call from this number at 8:20am, I answered the phone, however, no one spoke on the other end. I did hear conversations in the background; finally they hung up.

I get calls from these people a number of times a day, but did not know who they were until I finally did an Internet search. They are Allied Interstate I guess, trying to collect $15 +/- for DirecTV, which is in dispute and which I have a dispute with. I will never, never, never use DirecTV again. If there is a cloud in the sky you lose the signal - and they charge a lot for their supposed service.

I get on average 5 calls from them everyday. The one time I answered, they asked for some lady. When I told them that person does not live here, they told me that they wanted to talk to the current homeowner. The guy would not shut up so I hung up.

I get this call at least once or twice a day, no one is there and they leave no message.

I called this number back, a operator stated he was with Allied interstate, explained that someone calls me several times a day never leaves message and never says anything.  He asked for my number and if I knew a Steven Martin.  Explained no I didn't, he stated this was the number this person gave as a contact number.  He said within 24/48 hours my number would be out of system.

I've gotten over 30 calls on my cell phone from this place.  I've tried calling to figure out what the hell they want and to get my cell number removed and after waiting on hold three times, as soon as I got a live person on the phone, they promptly hung up on me as soon as I started my "I've been receiving excessive amounts of calls on my cell phone" spiel.  If I get any more calls, I'm seriously looking at suing this sham enterprise.

These jerks call my house roughly 6 times a day, 7 days a week. When we answer the phone, they hang up so that you'll call back and have to sit on hold to find out who the hell they are, for almost a half hour. My brother's been dead for almost 10 years and they still call my parents house and harass them for money for his unpaid debts which if I'm correct is about $30!!!

Alse been receiveing automated calls from this number on my cell, asking me to hold. Well, not on my cell phone I won't, and much less if you don't identify yourselves! I cancelled DircTV a few months ago, and had my account on auto pay linked to my credit card. They even refunded a credit balance. So why on earth would they be trying to collect anything?
Now that I read this thread, I remember getting a letter from this company a few days ago. I don't know what they want, but I certainly don't owe DirecTV anything, and all my legit bills are paid on time. This must be a scam!

I get calls from this number at 8:20 AM, between 1-3PM and again between 7-9PM in the evening, DAILY...weekend and weekdays.  When I answer, no one responds on the other end but you can hear that they are still there and there is activity in the background.  If it were a bill collector, you would think they would say something; but this jerk just listens and won't hang up.  I've tried to call back and got a trunkated number.  Today, I finally reached someone at one of the MANY last four digit numbers and they identified themselves as Allied.  I told them that I would not give any identification and explained what was happening.  The guy asked if I knew a person.  I stated yes.  He hung up on me.  I'm concerned that he will call back again...we'll see....

I received calls from this number looking for a person who does not work at this business. I called back & requested we be taken off the list.  I was not given any argument, and they said it will take 24 hours.  I'll re-post if it doesn't work.

My father in law was also receiving calls from this company. They say that they were trying to collect money from him because he cancelled his Direct TV service but never returned the box. Which unfortunate due to his age he did forget. And paid his bill.

I have received a call from this number EVERY morning (except Sundays) for the past 3 weeks.  I believe it is an automated dialing system, because I have answered it twice and gotten no response from the other end.  How many complaints do people have to file before action is taken against the caller?  The main reason I ask, is that my number is a new cell phone number that I use for work.  I assume the previous owner of my number is the person whom this strange, ineffective collection agency is attempting to reach.

This number calls me all the time.  They never leave a message and if I do answer, I get nothing.

I receive at least 2 or 3 phone calls from this phone number daily - starting early in the day (7:30 am) and going late into the night
(9 pm).  When I answer these phone calls, no one is at the other end.  I am adding this phone number to my blocked phone call list.  No idea why I'm receiving these calls as no one ever answers.

I get about 5 calls a day starting at 7:30.  When you call back it asks for your SS number.  It wants the whole number.  I refused to do it.  My question, how do you get them from quit calling.
