- JCClaim to be Microsoft calling about my license expiring. Has happened several times now. Very annoying.
- NRSaying Microsoft license will expire if don't renew. Jokes on them , I don't own a computer and my Xbox and cellphone doesn't count. Besides, I would have to sign up for Microsoft office, which I haven't so there. Microsoft doesn't call or email or text you with stuff like this. It's best to deal with the actual website to make sure that things are ok. Other than that, ignore the calls. Total scam.

- John 14:6Someone claiming to be from Microsoft called my mom stating that her computer would be cut off if she didn't pay her bill. 1) She doesn't own a computer and 2) She doesn't have a Microsoft account. She texted me the number and I called and asked him why he was trying to scam my mom. He hung up. So I called back (just to irritate him and told him that I would report him and his fake Microsoft number to the FTC and he hung up on me again. I actually enjoyed dropping a little bit of misery on his day of scamming☺ I'm sure the number will change and he will be back at it tomorrow, but it felt good.

- Trickster| 1 replyI called back the "microsoft" number and told the clown I would renew. I said my cell was running low and could he call on my land line. He bit and I gave him the non-emergency police number. I waited a while called back an asked how he liked talking to the POLICE. He cussed me an hung up.

- ChristinaSame as the others - Microsoft scam. I went along with it, and acted all concerned about my computer being shut off since I work from home. Said I definitely want to pay - got the amounts due for 1 year, 2 year and 5 year. Said I want to pay the 5 year so I don't have to worry anymore! When he asked for my card number, I said ' just send me an invoice and I'll get it taken care of right away". He hung up. I called back, and said I had been disconnected, and wanted to give them my address so they could bill me - hung up again! I love screwing with them!
