They keep calling for someone else

"No Caller ID" and "Unknown" on the phone, no phone number shown when calling our office line. I answered and they asked for the owner. Gave me this number as a call back with an extension and only would identify themselves as "MCM". I suspect it's "Midland Credit Management", a debt collection agency. If it is, isn't it illegal for them to not have a number on the caller ID?

Keep calling me as “unknown” even after telling them I don’t want them to call me.

They call as unknown...it's Midland Credit...hard to understand the person talking due to lack of english speaking skills...but said his name was Hank. HA!

Person of obvious Indian (Far East) decent called and asked for a employee that wasn't in.  Told me his name was Pete Johnson (yeah, right!). Said he was from MCM and told me to give the employee the message. I asked him what type of company MCM was. His reply was, "I am instructed not to give out that information".  I told him, "in that case NEVER call this number again!", and hung up.
If it is a collection agency, they are required to at least tell you that much. I have a strict policy that employees are not to bothered at work with such calls.  I have blocked this number from my business phone.

I had been receiving this kind of phone calls since last week they say they are a collection agency and that my account from capital one car loan was past due and that my case and account was transfer to them and that they were trying to get a payment before they posses my car be super careful because capital one actually called me and said they were not aware of any information being transfer I don’t know what is happening it looks like it’s a scam be carefull

A male called asking for my mothers name, hard to understand. Calling about a personal matter. He told me his name was Ryan Stevens.

Had a Call today. Foreign accent....his name was "Shane Morgan"  What.Ever!!

Called for a teacher on our campus. Took a message from a gentleman with a foreign accent, named "Shane Morgan".....I highly doubt that, but anyway, said he was from MCM and gave me this number with Ext 68653 to call. Told me to tell the teacher that he would be waiting for his call before 7:30. Yeah, ok.

Just got a call from this number. Foreign accent guy said his name was Jason. Desperately wanted me to make a payment on a card that supposedly went to collections but my husband says hes been making the payments. He tried keeping on the phone to make a payment. Started talking about his family situation and all the Bill's he pays so he understood how we might have gotten behind blah, blah, blah. Seemed very irritated that I wouldn't pay. Pretty sure it's a scam. Be careful.

Said his name was "Shane Morgan" with a thick Indian accent.  I've been getting calls the last few days but I don't talk to them.  I just hang up after they give their initial talk.  I have 0 debt, so this is purely a scam, and a creative one.

I got that same call asking for my son but he said his nMe was Brandon. Spam

Had a man call 2 days in a row and ask for my son. Told him he was out of the country and he told me I was lying. The man's name was Ethan could not hardly understand him

They ask for me which I told him that she was not here. Call from an restricted number. Left me an number to call back his name was Christopher.

I got a call in Spanish ( I speak Spanish ) from
MCM she was very kind and she seemed to care. . She knew my address but she didn’t asked me for personal information other than my credit card number to set payments on an old credit card account I still need to pay off. I called MCM ( Midland Credit ) they told me that  my account is in the legal department. After they transferred me to that department, they told me they don’t have any records of any call made to me.
I cancelled my credit card. These people are very good at what they do. At times, it seems like they can read my mind.

Two calls same day. Left no message.

These people keep calling constantly asking for someone named Freddie. I told them I that I don’t know this guy and I was just continuing the conversation and the guy ended up asking me for my ss number for “verification”. They are really consistent about calling even though told them not to call me again
