They called me three times in a row. I sent them all to VM. There was a blank 60sec msg for all.

Keeps calling my wife's phone asking for me.  Something about an urgent issue regarding my bank account.  Sounds like a spammer to me.

This number called me and my son, stating that we had written a fraudulent check and they had enough information gather to prosecute us.  We called the bank, American Bank of Texas, where they said the check was written and the bank verified we had never had an account with that Bank.  IHS doesn't exist online as a debt collection company. It's got to be a spammer.

I had a message on my voicemail that International Help Service LLC was looking into my bank accounts and was trying to get a hold of me in regards to a pending subpoena for court.  I immediately called back and the person that left the message answered as Detective Slater, (a woman).  She went on to explain to me that a I had written a bad check for $1800 to a furniture company (which I never had done) in 2008 and that the furniture company was in the process of taking me to court for fraud.  I told Slater have them take me to court...I never wrote that bad check.  She then said ok we were just calling to see if you wanted to pay their settlement cost.  I said no, have them take me to court and she then said ok I will subpoena you and hung up.  The alarming part was she knew my   date of birth, address, phone number and social security number.

Omg same thing I was so scared I payed them 1,000 dollars 😣😣

Do you know the name and address of the group you paid?  Could you post it here, levae out any personal information.    How did you pay them?

Got a call about a bad check from 9 years ago, statute of limitations is 6 years in MA. Found their web site internationalhelppservicesllc.com. Looks like either a scammer or illegal debt collection.

I got a call from an investigator Davis, said I needed to call her immediately in regards to a complaint filed against me in county court.   They even left a complaint #.  I had no idea what it was about,  still don't.   They haven't called since and they didn't say which county,  so we decided it was fake.

If you had cooperated with the caller he would have given you a chance to buy your way out of trouble, but you have to give him your bank account or credit card number right.this.second.
