877-372-2977

This 877 number is the phone number that gets routed to when you dial (at least) 708-329-7010.  That's the number that appears, along with caller ID "Gas Company".  When I answered the phone from that 708 number one day, it was dead silence at the other end.  They seem to call on Wednesdays around noon, calling 3 or 4 times within about 1 hour.

Forgot to mention - when I dialed the 877 number, I got a recorded message similar to "because of the high number of calls to this number from your number, your call is blocked.

They have called my business for the past two days, 6 times per day!
I have not answered, and I am glad.  After reading the above reviews,
I will not waste my time talking to them.  Thank you for the heads up!

just off phone w them @ 1.35 pm 2day lady was like" next month on ur gas bill ur gonna c a huge reduction" I said lady it dont work like that around here (Gas & Electric r 1 company) she started 2 get snotty n told me that I have xyz gas company right?? n I told her NO n told her 2 put me on the companies DO NOT CALL list that they ring my phone off the hook day n night all week every week n she got even snottier n said I've never called u b4 n I started getting really pissed off by this point n told her NO U PROB HAVENT BUT THE DAMN COMPANY CALLS DAY N NIGHT N IM SICK N TIRED OF IT N JUST PUT ME ON THE DAMN DO NOT CALL LIST N DONT CALL BACK OR I WILL FREAK OUT AGAIN......sorry but they call almost everyday several times a day UGH

This phone number calls my home three-four times per day. Today I decided to answer. The guy claimed to be calling from Verizon and wanted to speak with me about my phone bill. His sales pitch started off with him being very excited about Verizon starting to outsource its long distance services to Cordia. This change would allow me to save a little money with lower rates ($20-$30 less/month). Once this guy tried telling me how much my bill was every month with Verizon, I became skeptical that he was from Verizon because clearly he didn't know anything about my phone bill. He then changed his tune and told me that he was calling from Cordia (now I am second guessing that claim too). When I told him that I couldn't make any changes to my bill at this time his reaction was to become aggressive and ended the call before he hung up with "enjoy throwing your money away!"

I spoke with Verizon and they confirmed for me that this scam happens quite often to their customers. She did caution me that these guys do have a habit of switching customers' long distance service illegally and to watch my bill for the next month or so to make sure that all of my long distance charges are with Verizon.

Hi I received this same call last evening and he stated that he was from Verizon and that because my phones usage was so low that they were giving me a better plan. When I asked him the questions about me have the Verizon bundle he got confused and said you have a Dish and that clued me that something was wrong because if he were calling from Verizon wouldn't he know what package I have. I disconnected the call.

I received a call from the number tonight, because the man did not pronounce my name correctly I immediately asked if it was a solicitation call.  His response, in a very sarcastic tone was..."do you want to be solicited".  When I asked, "who is this, he hung up".  I called the number to make a complaint with the company and got a recorded message that no one was available with customer service.  Some one should post this number somewhere to caution other people.
