Got an uninvited insulting text from this number and reported it to the FTC right away.  He uses official phone numbers belonging to others to make it look official.  DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS CLOWN.

I received a call from ERG and Associates from a Patrick Lotempio stating i had several allegations against me due to not paying a payday loan in 2012 from cash net usa. I contacted Cash Net USA and they have never given us any money and sent me emails regarding fraudulent activity from people using their company name. After looking them up and doing research, I'm not the only person who has had this happen to them from ERG. If I was going to be sued or had charges against me. i wouldn't be notified by a phone call or even be warned it would just happen.They refused to send me any paperwork or even give me any info on the loan or what account it went into.They kept giving me the run around. When I told them i figured out they were scamming me he told me i could go f myself.

Well I was not that lucky they called me and said they were loanco loans online emailed loan papers and everything thing they have a website I hope they get what they deserve

This number has been calling my home for the past couple of days. It comes up US Government. I was home today when this number called and I answered but no one said anything so I hung up.

Scammers called me for about the 5th time today.  Only reason I answered is it said Fed Trade Comm. Woman with an accent tells me I have been issued a grant from the FTC in the amount of $14,566 ! I know the FTC does not issue grants just for fun! She gave me another # to call telling me it was the banking dept (408-909-3912). Such harassing garbage!  I hope these scammers can be caught and put behind bars pretty soon for all this fraud.

They call me 4 or 5 times a day telling me that the US Government had randomly selected my name and number to receive a grant in the amount of anywhere between $9,000 to $14,000. This isn’t the only number I get them from either. However, this last time, the guy threatened me, and told me he knows my address, which of course is not my correct address, but to know he has that information in the first place is a little unsettling.

Rec'd notification from Federal Trade Commission alerting me to this scam. Scammers are spoofing the FTC's Consumer Response Center's phone number. Signing up for FTC notifications is a good idea for everyone.

Below a link to the FTC's announcement this week which 800Notes will not munge for your protection. The subject phone number is used by the Federal Trade Commission for inbound calls only. Therefore, any calls received which display this in Caller ID are immediately suspect. That's before we get to the call content, which per previous reports here may cover a wide range of fraud schemes. I'd love to know how it took 8,5 years for anyone at the FTC to notice the doppelganging.

Someone with a very foreign accident kept calling me saying they were from Washington DC-the Government

Got many phone calls from this number 877-382-4357 & another phone number 833-353-0273 regarding a debt collection for past due medical charges from Focus Medical Imaging. Two months later received a collection letter from CMRE Financial service Inc. This is scam!
