Get calls almost daily to my work phone. Takes forever for the automated voice to start, but once I heard NetCredit I googled them and found this is their collections number.

I did talk to a live person about a month ago and told them the person they were trying to reach no longer works here, but continued to receive calls that week. Finally called the number today and asked that they remove the number from the woman's account because she no longer works here. We'll see if it stops finally!

Consider a call blocker/app depending on the line you have, OR, allow no kind of answer if you can. With no way to threaten you, and pending you have no business with the outfit, they can do little besides make your phone ring. After a while, it's possible to get rid of them since they waste time calling you.

It appears that this is a creditor and not a third party debt collection company.  As such they are only regulated in 5 states and are not subject to the FDCPA.  I am assuming that you took a loan out from them and are late in paying?  Well, they have every right to try to collect what is owed them.  You can try a certified, return receipt cease comm letter but it might backfire on you and they might end up taking you to court.  You can also try filing reports with the following agencies.

First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are:  http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

Calls where I work daily, as I am the Receptionist. I never hear any thing so I just hang up. These calls tie up phone lines as we are a health care facility and need every open line we can get for emergencies and Dr calls.

Hey BigA would you happen to know what states they are regulated in?  I got a $1200 loan while back from them and someone hacked my account and overdrew me so I couldn't pay them.  So then they kept doing ACH on my account which even overdrawn me more to there was no way of paying them back and they are harrassing me at home and work.  About to lose my job cuz of them.  What can I do to stop the harrassment?

} they are not subject to the FDCPA since they are the creditor.  They may however be subject to state laws.

Correct. Several enlightened states restrict the behavior of original creditor collections in ways similar to the FDCPA, usually granting private right of action, meaning the bank's in-house thugs can be sued by consumers. Those states include California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Utah, and Wisconsin.

You may be able to deflect the calls at work by sending them a certified, return receipt letter telling them that you cannot get personal calls at work, or having your boss do it on a company letterhead.

You can go to a branch office of your bank and inform them your account was hacked, of course they will require proof. You can  dispute all the charges resulting from that hacking as a fraud alert.  Request the account be closed and open a new one. You can call your creditor and explain what happened, make new arrangements and see what they are willing to do.  Legitimate creditors only want their money paid back and are willing to negotiate payment arrangements.
