SCAM! This company is apparently called "Mediation Services". An automated caller uses several different names and makes legal threats in the message. They use other numbers as well, such as 614-245-0637, 877-392-8456, 877-386-6213. 877-371-9760

Total scam. I got a call from this number and asked what the name BRG stands for. The woman proceeded to tell me that it stands for Bournview Recovery Group. I told her that I had a missed call from 877-401-0822. She then told me to hold for a quick second while she looked up the reason why I was contacted. I heard people talking in the background and then she hung up on me. I hope all of these [***]-heads die as the building they are working in goes up in FLAMES!

They left a message saying they are tracking a person and needed information on that person.  I can hear the girl type the name into a computer so it gives you a computer generated voice of the person they are looking for, which I have no reference to that person.  Such a scam.  Don't call them back.

This number popped up on my computer as a number from Microsoft along with warnings my computer was hacked. I was unable to get rid of the pop ups and voice activation of a hack so I called them back but was not only told my computer and phone were hacked but that my bank acct. was too. They said funds were going to be transferred within the hour in bit coins to Russia and gave me suspicious instructions to avoid this from happening. I went to my local branch and they said it was a scam and there was no such activity on my account but noted what had happened. DO NOT call them back - hackers!!! Several steps needed to ensure they didn't hack me again.

You weren't hacked.  It was a simple pop up that could have been avoided if you had simply installed an ad blocker and used it.
