text message said from EPPI card of new york state. To call about recent acount activity. I don't have a card with them. Looked up the right phone number for the company. Another fishing scam.

Same text-based phishing scam. I am a new yorker, but have no EPPIcard.

just got a text telling me to call this same number today. good thing I looked it up, or else I may have called the number. did anyone else call it? I don't even have an EPPI card anyway, but was worried about this.

I jut got the same message.  Didn't even know what an EPPI card was but good thing I double checked on line.  Obviously a scam.

got text message (at 6:29PM) asking me to call above number--"message from the NY STATE  EPPI card...please call about recent account activity"

I have no such card...

(I called the # but got no answer)

1-877-0931 is a scam when call the number it says it is not in service do not call

i got the text from this number and i called to see what it was.
found out it was scam just now. i didn't give out anything, but could just dialing this number harm me in anyways?

I received the same text. Called the number no answer.
