A person called stating that the targeted (targeted meaning the person he was asking contact info about) was "28 years old and in big trouble" The person said they were from the "Rockingham County Investigatory..." (Rockingham County, NH -this is the county we live in) We later checked and this company, business unit does not exist. The person went as far as to reference a supposed old roommate of the targeted person and even name dropped the targeted persons brother. This seemed like an apparent attempt by the caller to provide "inside information" and appear as thought this was a "big deal." the caller was forceful and was using unusual tactics (as described below) to try and get the targeted persons contact information. They did leave a na e and a call back number of 877-423-1812.

i got a call from this number too..who are they

This wouldn't surprise me if there is someone or a business that you owe a great sum of money to.  Could this be the case? I've heard of private investigators being used to 'skip-trace' and locate assets of 'debtors' (people who have delinquent debt).  Check your records and pay your bills and these type of calls usually will stop in my past experience.
