Called my cell phone

They called my.. IPOD idk how but they did. And of course i could answer it....

They called a total of six times right in a row, this is just harassment and on a holiday is just not right.
this is American express trying to collect, they need to do this the right way not do this.

This number has been calling my cell phone repeatedly for a week.  I usually don't answer 1-800 numbers, but they left a message on my voicemail trying to get in touch with a family member (who doesn't live in my home, my cell phone isn't in their name, and there should be NO reason that these people keep calling me.)  After finally answering when they kept calling me over and over early in the morning, I informed them that this was my personal cell phone and that the family member they were trying to reach did not live at my residence, and there should be no reason for them to call me.  They attempted to dig for information from me ("Where can we reach this person?") and even went so far as to ask when they could contact my husband to get information from them.  After telling them I didn't know any information and hanging up, two hours later they call me back asking for the same family member.  I told them never to call this number again.  We will see if they call back.

They have been calling...actually, to use your words, HARRASSING, me for over a week!  I don't even have an American Express card...never have, and the person they are calling for doesn't even live here.  This smells of scam to me.

They are calling me at work! Leaving messages about collection with other employees!

Called and left no message

Called again today left a message claiming to be from American Express. I do not have any accounts with them nor do I have any unpaid accounts. calls continually and leaves message for someone named Matthew. Don't know a Matthew and I assume at some point he had this number and they are trying to collect a debt.

American Express collections. IGNORED! :)

Just got a call at home, calling for my dad. The number looks strange and fake after I answer it and then pass it to my dad. It is fake after checking it out. Who are you? Are you one of the suspects that the police have discovered trying to get update information? Scared now? You should be. You do not want to mess with me... because you will regret it. You have no idea what I am capable of... Call again and you will be sorry. This also goes to other debt collectors. Do your homework, stupid, lazy, rude, insolent, brawny ingrates.

I have been receiving calls from this number for several months. All of them have been coming to my cell number. My feeling is  if it is important enough to call me, then leave a message. Never once have they left a message for me. Whoever these people are, they have way to much spare time on their hands.

Keep a log. Record their calls if at all possible. There are CONSUMER PROTECTION attorneys out there that love to take any law breaking collection personnel and their companies to task.

Amex trying to collect would make sense. During divorce wife opened an amex account in my name... sigh.

I get between 8-10 phone calls per day from this number. They call my work phone and it is extremely distracting to my fellow employees. It needs to stop immediately.
